First goal was clearly goaltender interference by Marc Staal.

Looked like early season Panthers, stats probably say they “deserved” better, but they didn’t. “Controlling” more of the play, but can’t score. They don’t give up a lot of chances, but when they do it is damn near a slam dunk goal.
Let’s go Panthers. Gotta win game 2 or they’re in big trouble.

How did Duclair disappear? He never appeared in the first place

Tkachuk and Lyons carried the Panthers into the playoffs, not Barkov or Reinhart.

Ekblad and Forsling suck defensively( where it matters in the playoffs)
Guda is always out of position looking for the big hit
Staal was good 10 years ago
Montour is too small
Mahura is descent

That's probably why Brunette sat him down in last's year's playoff.

The fact that Tyler Bertuzzi took Cousin's stick away, took it back to the bench and broke it is intimidating. Cousins did nothing but push Bertuzzi in the back which he ignored like a nat flying around him. If this doesn't fire up the Panthers nothing will.
