The same reason teams aren't game planning against RNH. There are bigger fish to fry my friend.

So they won't be paying attention to a 40 goal scorer that was also over a point per game last playoffs?

Paying attention and being scared of are 2 different things. Don't try changing the wording around. Verhaeghe had a fine season, but there is no way he is considered a top threat around the league.

David Krejci has led the playoffs in points 2ce in his career. Is Florida game planning around him because of this? No, because they're worried about Pasta. I'm not here to sh!t on Verhaeghe, I'm being realistic. Tkachuk is the problem.

Talk about changing wording around. Your original post had nothing to do with game planning? Typical Boston cawksuckah...

I'm done with this go around pally. Go grab your Verhaeghe hockey card, your Jergens, some tissue, and go to town.

I know those types of teams like to create rules against opposing fans attending games wearing gear/sitting in certain sections for the playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised if (national) tv drowns out any "Let's Go Bruins" chants while we are on the road. Gotta make it seem like every team has a rabid fan base.

The Capitals won't even let you buy a ticket unless you're in the DC area.

Guess the Capitals are one of "those types of teams" too.

Yup. If that be the case, they sure are "one of those teams".

I'll admit, your deflection game is on par with the likes of Joe Pavelski. Intellectually though, you're more of an Ilya Bryzgalov.

Doesn’t make it not embarrassing. Tampa might be the worst. They made a child take off his opposing jersey last year.

The issue with these bafoons is they misconstrue "one of those teams" as meaning something else. Let them cry their alligator tears.

I mean, they have a couple reasons to cry I think. Hard to put together a successful team when Torts has them doing bag skates six times a week

Also there is this:

Well not every team has been around for 100 years so they kind of have to try to do something to level the playing field. Either way its a lose lose.

Very curious to see if the crowd in Florida will be overwhelmingly Bruins fans like it always is. Any “zip code” type rule would be pointless with so many Boston natives who have moved here. It is what is here, and for several teams besides Boston, so many leave up there to move here.

it won’t be “overwhelmingly” Bruins fans. But I’m sure there’ll be enough there to be heard.

So Bergeron played in Mon and ended up with an upper body injury?

FFS what were they thinking letting him play. It was IRRESPONSIBLE to play Bergeron and Pasta.

Damn. Boston is going to be well rested for the second round. You may not even have to play a goalie for this series.

thought Hall had a great game, both ends of the ice. He's gotta take a shot on one of those 2 on 1s though.

Oh, our organization sucks, and Fletcher ran it into the ground. The fact that he was allowed to stay around so long. I would probably choose any poster from this site, and they couldn't have done much worse. We're several years away from being a perennial playoff team, let alone a contender.

Good game last night. Lyon played really well and you guys got a few lucky breaks, but you make your own luck.

Heard a lot of fellow Bruins "fans" last night on the radio saying the season was a fluke. They're worried about Florida blah blah. WTF

Not sure how you call 82 games a fluke. Can't really understand that take. You people should move to CT, or Mars for all I care. Just get the (frank) out and don't back. Just zero respect for the team and for the game with this lazy, P.O.S. take. Take a lap.

AS for being worried about Florida. They played very well down the stretch, they earned the spot and deserved to be there. They are however nowhere near as deep as the Bruins who are deep at every position. All of Boston's top guys came out to play last night...without Bergeron. Goals 2 and 3 were soft and greasy but they count. (frank)ing live with it. Either get on board or go (frank) yourselves. Disgusting show by this fan base right now. Clean it up.

I thought both goalies played well last night. Lyon let in couple of soft ones, but overall still played well. Was a great win without the captain there.

Foligno and Forbort back in. Having Forbort on the PK really helped last night. I still think its going to be a tight series but not sure where all the poop takes are coming from either. Enjoy the ride people, was a good season, and we got 15 more wins to go.

Wouldn't mind if he stuck around the organization after this year. Something tells me they will be a bit too cap strapped to bring him back though.
