I notice that Brock didn’t stop playing in the Da Beauty League summer after summer while his father got more and more ill. Playing in the Da Beauty League is not an adequate summer training program. It’s more about fun. So I guess he wasn’t so grief-stricken to stop having fun. - bloatedmosquito
Nice job micromanaging the guy's life! That's creepy. |

Going through a dying parent is different. Especially when you/they are still young. The longer it drags on, the harder it can get as well. - Retinalz
Really? Who would have guessed that losing a love one is difficult. At least Brock was fortunate enough to have time to prepare and spend quality time together before saying good bye. That’s more than most people get.
Thank god his father’s illness didn’t interfere with his commitment to Da Beauty League. That would have been tragic. |

Sweet. Hope you get some good tickets. And the Oilers lose the next 2. - Load Management
lol Oilers aren't doing themselves any favours with undisciplined Hockey. Three blown 2 goal leads and another blown 2-1 lead last night. That Drai penalty after the 2nd McDavid goal was totally uncalled for. Game should have never got to OT they know Gary's boys are watching. Need to use their f ucking heads lol
Anyways yes looking at good seats about 180-$220 wow. But worth it. Never been disappointed with a Maiden show. |

Meh, he's grieving. People grieve differently and at different times. Not holding that against a 25/26 year old that he felt distanced from him job after his dad/mentor died in the few months previous.
If this was 5 years down the line, sure... but we'll find out next year if anything has changed, for the Canucks or some other team he's on. - NewYorkNuck
Most people take a leave of absence when they grieve like Brock says he did, but usually, those are the classy people, unlike Brock, who felt he must try play through it.

As inept as management has been for over a decade, they dodged a bullet with Bo. I'm happy he took his leadership to NY.

Had an excellent day yesterday. Won on all 4 games, but a special thanks to the Oilers, who paid out most of the 1100 that I won yesterday.

You're almost better off throwing in a few extra quid and meeting us at Power Trip.
Missed all the games last night. No Quarter and Mr. Crowley have snuck into the rotation though. Fun tunes to Drum. |

So keep Boeser who could get better and trade Garland and Myers. That helps the OEL mess since he’s not going anywhere. Trade for D and 3C not sure if we fill from within or by trade on a RFA. Avoid UFA spending on older players. - Quinn's Quest
So give up assets why? Pipeline is thin as it is. Not much there other than possible role type players who need more time.
Nothing has changed cap wise & that is where it all has to begin. There are some good UFA LHD available this offseason that might not break the bank. The following season has RHD available. Mission is to build a better structure so can entice UFA’s. Just my 2 bits. |

Not to sound heartless but this is the stupidest excuse I’ve heard from this kid (and he’s full of excuses)…
“It's hard for people to understand the aftereffects of what I went through. Unless you really go through this, you can’t understand what it's like dealing with a (dying) family member.”
Unless you were born in a test tube, every single person in the (frank)ing world has had to deal with a family member dying. What the (frank) is he talking about?
“It’s hard for people to understand”? Hey Brock, everyone understands you stupid twit. You ain’t unique. Now go put on your big boy pants and stop with the excuses. - bloatedmosquito
I feel for Brock but adding to what you say nobody gets $6.65m a year to get through it. |

You better hope VAN gets someone to protect Nil's bitches ass if he ever makes the team. - VanHockeyGuy
I heard a good comment last night about him. Good skills getting the puck and making plays once he has it, but poor finish. They will probably take a good look at him nect year.
