They also have a point that maybe Mccauley shouldn't be reffing their games.

I totally understand the point, but the conflict of interest was created by the Leafs management, when they hired Keefe, knowing full well that one of the nhl's best referees, who has been around since 2005, was the brother-in-law of Keefe.
Maybe the Leafs should have selected someone else to be the coach, while they are supposedly in their cup contention years.
The Leafs obviously think they will, or at least should be going deeper into playoffs and the likelihood of the league not having a ref of McCauleys calibre officiating, is highly unlikely.

They should call Luongo for Poker advice. Lou seemed real keen on Poker instead of winning a cup. |

Some of you guys need to talk to a professional about your obsession with Toronto and the maple leafs.

We know there’s favouritism, it’s obvious and Canadians know it, but fan bases fight amongst each other and I’m guilty of it. In the back of my mind I want a Canadian team to defeat the bias but I want it to be the Canucks 😆 and I think other fan bases feel the same way that’s why we fight and laugh at each other. |

It would nice to see a CDN team break through. But the battle is tough as you have to beat the system PLUS the teams you are playing. Always a grind. But back to the Oilers in my mind they really have nothing to whine about Monday night as they blew 2-two goal leads in regulation so the call in OT (albeit sh!tty) should have technically never have happened. That game should have been over long before. Now, they are in a 'must win' situation already for game 2 and this is where the pressure really mounts. Statistically, teams with home ice advantage that lose both games 1-2 at home only have about a 14-20% chance of winning 4/5 games and getting to the second round. Oilers and their fans may not view it this way but it's pretty much a must win at home tonight.

Wasn’t he confirmed a bust…?
Anyway, good showing for the kid. Let’s hope his team makes the SHL and he continues developing. |

18 year old bust, he never had a chance 😆, it’s been well documented by management he’s a project. He has good skills especially his shot. |

In the leaf game, was that puck in? The replays I seen says it wasn’t in. |
