The Oilers didn't lose to the Kings. Watching that game in person it was disusting to see the infractions not called by the officials. The only calls they made in the game were the obvious ones like the high sticking penalty. Just prior to Bouchard getting called in the last two minutes Lizotte tripped two Oilers in their end to clear the puck out of the LA end that led to the Bouchard high stick call. The Oilers lost to one-sided officiating and will have to tone down their attack or the same will happen in the next game. In person that was men playing against boys for the first 40 minutes, then it turned into a 5 versus 4 game with all of the penalties call. There was a reason the fans turned ugly throwing garbage on the ice. Disgust for the people that should be officiating the game not determining its outcome.

Complaining about referees is what Flames and Leafs fans do. This whiney bullpoop is unbecoming of an Oilers fan.
If the Oilers are worthy of winning the cup they should be able to overcome a few bad calls. Fans like you embarrass me.

The call in OT was weak but again, the game should have never have gotten to that point. That's on EDM. Bear in mind however Canadian teams have to battle Gary's refs AND beat the teams they are playing. Another reason why we haven't seen a cup in Canada since Bettman fully took over. He's the most corrupt clown commissioner in league history...but that's another story lol.

(frank) off with your conspiracy theory bullpoop. It makes zero sense that Canadian teams would employ him if it were true . Bugger yourself.

Lets see...

Skinner let in a weak back hander for the Kings first goal.
Edmonton blew not only a 2-0 lead, but a 3-1 lead, both in the 3rd period.
The Kings PP looked good throughout the game. Oilers should have known to not take stupid penalties.

Whichever team stays out of the box, will win this series.

Blame the refss all you want, but miss calls were made against both teams.

And did the fans actually chant "refs you suck" when the goal was disallowed due to a high stick??

Seems like there’s an entire generation of fans that don’t know the rules of the game

Appears the basic principles of refereeing elude you as well.

Stefano is a typical american fan who thinks hockey started when Gretz moved to LA. Also never played a game themselves and only see hockey on TV. When your at that game you see the actual play not what cameras pick up. The Kings were one of the most penalyzed teams in the league but yet were absolutely clean for over 55 minutes of play. Not a chance so the officials see one team dominating the play and only called them whenever they had the opportunity. The official on far side of the ice called the Bouchard for his high stick penalty. I sit 20 seats above that location and Bouchard hit shoulder first, then his stick was glanced up to the LA players head. Not a direct hit so by the rules should not have been an infraction. From the other side of the ice you don't see that. Should have been the near side official to make that call. Officiation of any sport game is mandated to be unbiased but the league has not controlled that aspect at least 10 years.

LMAO.. um I am a proud Canadian thank you very much.

as for most one of te most peanlized teams in the league.. The Oilers had more penalties than the Kings did this season https://www.statmuse.com/...+penalties+team+2022-2023 and the Oilers had more PIM than the Kings https://www.statmuse.com/...l+most+pim+team+2022-2023
Also with regards to High sticking, the NHL rule book has no mention of glancing off another part of the body before contacting the head. In fact, a player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion, or accidental contact on the opposing center who is bent over during the course of a face-off,

See rule 60 https://cms.nhl.bamgrid.c...3802/binary-file/file.pdf

i get it that refs will make mistakes and make the wrong calls. It will happen to both teams.
