Yeah he counts as soon as played. Good for him, he gets to UFA faster. |

Having a hitter on each defensive pair is HUGE!
Lindgren, Trouba, and Schneider all can lay down a big hit. Makes such a difference in the playoffs. Mikolla looked great too! Laying down that slide with his 6'6 frame was awesome. Fox was Fox, and Miller is always going to have a few hiccups, but his upside is worth it |

Just want to point out how bad NHL highlights have gotten. For the games that I haven't been able to watch I watch the condensed game on the NHL site which is like 10 minutes long.
When I watched the DAL vs MIN game, they didn't show or make any mention of the Dumba/Pavelski hit and after just watching the TB vs TOR game, same thing with the Bunting play.
This league is so afraid of showing any violence that crucial moments of playoffs games are left out of "condensed games"

Rod Langway and Ken Morrow used to never score goals in the regular season but score huge playoff goals and last night Lindgren joined that conversation, that goal was huge

I can't remember a NYR team who had 4 legit dman that could contribute offensively, and a 5th (Lindgren) who can do it at times as well

Was gonna say they do that by design. Which makes sense, they don't want to highlight the violence of the sport. Idk if it's right or wrong. |

NHL telecommunications are a joke in any format.
The highlights only show goals and not even all of them. The website is garbage. Couldn't even get through filling out a bracket. And worst of all is their app for viewing in Canada. I paid for it and still get blackouts. Not to mention, it glitches constantly. |

Surprised no one mentioned Kane yet. Maybe cause they won but he looked like hot garbage last night. Wasn’t skating at all. Didn’t do anything till that powerplay in the 3rd
Need more from him |

I thought he was for the most part a non factor
moved the puck pretty well on the powerplays, all 3 powerplays looked great
he did make a nice play that sent Kreider on the 2 on 1 that was stopped
Kane also had one annoying play where from center ice he didn't get the puck deep and Devils came down with a great chance
I think mostly a meh game from him

I wish they had enough money to keep Vlad. He just seems like a good guy to have on a team. - tomburton99
Yeah, I've been saying this for a while now. It seems like he truly enjoys being in New York. I am sure having some of your closest friends here helps. I'd love for them to try and find a way to keep him. But that's a story for a boring day in the summer. Not now

True he did spring that 2 on 1 with Kreider and Mika. But yea that stop skating to get the puck deep almost cost them a goal. Had me so angry lol |

It's wrong when the hit has a big impact on the game. If they want to leave out some of the bigger, less consequential hits who cares, but when a team gets a 5 min PP in the playoffs that two goals are scored on, show the effing hit |

Chris Kreider's response when asked about passing Rod Gilbert for the #NYR postseason goals record? Just what you would expect:
"We won Game 1. Game 2 is the hardest one to win after you win Game 1. We’re happy with how the first game went. We’ll be happy for 10, 15 minutes." |

They did. The baby brigade was already mad at people (me) for not saying anything about it. Enough of that though.
I wanna talk you about Kreider. This man has to go down as one of the best Rangers. Will finish no worse than 3rd for goals scored, 1st in Playoff goals, 1st in playoff PP goals, hopefully no worse 3rd for playoff games for skaters. Guy is just been so good for so long. |

Lol don’t have to convince me. Why I never get mad when he is streaky during the season. You know he always shows up in the playoffs. Still the most hated ranger on Twitter. What a world we live in |
