I have a feeling if they put Bertuzzi and Marchand out there for any extended length of time a line brawl will break out. |

Good on Bert to find his MOJO again. These are his 1st NHL play-offs and I predict he will have a monster play-off season! He was the play-off MVP in Grand Rapids when they won the Calder. I am very much missing this guy! |

He has been a great addition. Good chemistry with Pasta so far. I really hope they can find a way to keep him around after this year. |

Took a few games for him to get comfortable but I agree entirely. He’s perfect on the opposite side of Pasta. Pasta - Zacha - Bert was a great line to end the season.

So far I love this kid! I really hope there is a scenario in which they can keep him past this season. Right guy and the right age for this team. |

Oil leading 3-1 half-way through the 3rd and lose in OT?
That's a Leafy thing to do.

I bought it years ago at Hot Topic of all places. Sold it on eBay after it was all beat for like $80. - jmatchett383
Holy poop! I have an old Dillinger Escape Plan shirt in similar condition. I wonder what I could get? |

Of course it is. And who was defending the decision to let Bergy play those last two games?
- Nasty_Duck
Its always a risk towards the end of the season. At least it doesnt seem bad (we will see). Could always have been an injury like what happened to Svechnikov of the canes.
Lets hope they can continue the good roll without him. |

Irrelevant.
Him wanting to play in a meaningless game for the team jeopardizes the teams success. It was a selfish decision for that time of year.

It is not meaningless to him if he considers it his last game in Montreal... ever. Is practicing meaningless? All of the players wanted a final tuneup prior to the playoffs. I don't see how that is selfish.

Whether I agree with the decision or not is another story, but bottom line this is Bergy's team. Monty practically treats the dude like a partner head coach. If Bergy wanted to play, no way anyone was going to stop that.
Might be his last game ever in Montreal and I believe he did have family in attendance. I think it was treated as a very special game for him. The outcome was unfortunate but the man commands far too much respect to be denied a sentimental game for him if that's what it was. |

Me, and I stand by that position. When a guy of Bergeron's stature says he wants to play, you let him play. Plain and simple. |

Yes, had a suite full of family and friends. Even Charlie Jacob's was seen in the suite with Bergy's family. |
