It’s absolutely bizarre that they didn’t start with more detail and energy given it’s Game 1 of the Cup Playoffs - they look completely overwhelmed. Not just by Tbay but I think it starts with being overwhelmed by the event. They looked shell shocked.

They will wake up and it’ll be different going onward. Even look at the game - two goals in the second and it’s a great 3rd. Long series this is just the first.

This is why I was female doging about Keefes endless (frank)ing about with the lineup ever since the deadline. Absolutely nothing he was doing was allowing for familiarity or promoting readiness. It was an endless dog (frank) right up until tonight.

Believe I literally said something to the extent of Tampa will hit the ground running and if the leafs are second guessing who they're on the ice with and not feeling comfortable and instinctual it will be like they got hit by a train.

Serious question. Do you watch the Bruins much? I know it is hard if it is with Jack announcing, but they mix it up a lot.....

Had holl actually hit the player skating in front of him with the puck instead of watching him skate by....
Had the leafs actually come out to play like they should have...
Things may have been different.
Enough with blaming the refs, its so old and tiring my opinion.

Is it wrong that I just don't care as much anymore about the Leafs? I think I maybe watched 25 games this year. After 45 years of disappointment, the tank is running on empty.

McCabe penalty aside, they were two of the best players on the Leafs that period. Matthews looks engaged and physical. Very beast mode

I do not think the Leafs are going to get bounced without a fight.

Full disclosure, I watch a lot of hockey with other teams... Not a ton of Boston because of what you just said.

The tiny bit I have watched, it seems there isn't much changing on the blueline. They're certainly not rotating 9 guys in and out. And it seems the core components of their lineup are together regularly.

Believe they're definitely not making a farce of it and riding ebugs to the end.

But like I said, you're right... Definitely don't watch a ton of their games.
