It's literally moot, but that can't be a goal. The ref can't signal it's a goal unless he sees it's in. He didn't. The player can't move the pad to create space to put the puck in, but he did, and it was allowed.

I am at a total loss. I'm used to the refs on the ice having flexibility in their calls that I vehemently disagree with, but the situation room has a set group of rules. I don't get that one at all.
