I'd rather start Woll next game than throw him to the wolves now.
I know this is probably a dumb take and i will happily be proven wrong but my faith in Sammy has dropped to 0. I don't believe series are long enough to gamble on a goalie getting good. I do think they'll start him next game (i wouldn't but thats fine) but if they go down 2-0, you put in Woll and you do not turn back.
Cant afford to play with a goalie that chokes under pressure. It sucks but Sammy may be that kind of goalie.
The rest of the team has a chance though. I'm trying to hard to be rational I swear. - UsernameUnknown
Naw, no really bad goals from Sammy. Even a couple of great saves.
He's back in game 2, if he craps the bed again, then go to Woll. Or Murray... Lol |

I think Bunts will be gone next game. Keep Kerfoot in but those 3 in for the other 2 sounds good. - UsernameUnknown
Kerfoot treads water every shift.
ZAR is useless.
Sammy looks fragile. Maybe there’s something to his abysmal playoff record? |

Detroit coach made an interesting comment. The league wants more goals so the close reviews weren't going to go the leaf way - Aaron_85
But what I sincerely don't get is that it's not close. McCauley signaled that it was a goal. It doesn't matter whether he saw it or not - he made the call. They need to disprove that it crossed the line. Now there was later evidence that showed it DID cross the line, so it's a goal by that virtue.
What's not close to me is that Perry pushed the pad to make room for the puck. You can play the puck. You can't play the goalie. That's what I'm perplexed by!

Oh FFS, Bunting took a cheap shot.
Period.
He made a stupid, selfish play that cost his team a chance to make a comeback.
Call it what it was. - Atomic Wedgie
I have to agree with Aron. He’s just trying to engage before getting to the puck. He was aiming for the shoulder and missed and it looked bad.
If you’re an nhl player and head hunting well you’re probably not a regular nhler. Bunting is slimy but he’s not normally that dirty.
Also the fact that cernak looked like he was slu footed added to the injury and call. |

Santo also said we'd destroy their 4th line cause they're too old. Ooof. 🤣 |

I may not agree with this take, but I respect it. - Atomic Wedgie
I understand its a hot take and it sounds irrational but i dont think that opinion will change tomorrow morning upon reflection. This game was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. Only thing that wasn't disappointing was the officiating-it went exactly as I had anticipated. |

He was literally looking in the complete opposite direction. It was reckless and irresponsible, but if it was entirely intentional that's some ninja poop. |

Wow.. they’re calling the Bunting penalty a match… intent to injure. Def gonna have a hearing for that.
I thought 5 & a game sure… I didn’t see the intent to injure. |

The way two Bolts players celebrated at the same time leads me to believe they saw it over the line. |

No bad goals by Sammy?
I think we're going to stay on opposite sides of the fence on this one.
Besides, no bad goal or not, 6 is simply unacceptable in a playoff game. And its only been 40 minutes.
Edit: and 40 minutes is where it will stay. Alrighty then. |
