People can poop on the refs all the want, bottom line is you don't come out lazy and un-prepared. They put themselves down 2-0 early by standing around and watching the puck, then tried to play catch up all night. On top of that, 2 goals in the last few seconds of periods just shows an overall lack of focus.

Love how the fans are just blaming refs and saying Bunting hit was a bad call/not (primary) contact to the head (bigger guy, hit chest, all the usual poop).

I really do not care who wins this series (or any series, quite frankly), but for the sheer media / fan meltdown interest, I am enjoying watching the Leafs lose. Again.

If the Leafs go down 2-0, it will be (frank)ing awesome to see the level of absolute disfunction Toronto media and fans will become.

because nobody renewed their passport for 2 years and suddenly demand exploded. There are also A LOT of vacant positions in government, just on my team, we are supposed to be 18, we have 12 people right now, 6 vacant positions. People are hired and then leave shortly for private sector jobs very often, more money and more flexibility. Can't speak for the whole public sector, just the agency I work for, we tend to hire more educated people who have flexibility to move around the job market.

I feel the same. I have no vested interest in any team or care who wins. I just want the Leafs to lose and that’s all I care about. For the reasons you mentioned, but also what Scabeh mentioned last night about how next season is Matthews’ last ……..and the mass exodus of the management team!

the union on strike is mostly composed of administrative staff. My team is mostly engineers, accountants and lawyers, most are not unionized. They can move easily back into the private sector when we usually find them.
