Damn ... there's going to be panic in Toronto tomorrow if they drop the first game.
- Garfield512

I'd like the Habs to be built with the kind of speed the Devils have ... that's how we won a ton of cups in the '70s.
- Garfield512

don't forget the dirty part. they were dirty mother(frank)ers in the 70's. lol

and yes still bitter about 71 and 73

... the Habs were head and shoulder better than anyone else in the '70s ... ok, maybe not 1971 but that Lemaire slapshot was a beauty.

I'm not watching it, will tomorrow morning, but we may have a first here.
a team turning the switch to ON over the weekend.
never really saw that before, we heard sooo many times it's not the way it works.... and yet. 3-0.

then again, it's the Leafs

I have PIP (picture in picture) on my TV ... watching 2 games at once.
But I have the Rangers-Devils on the main screen ... I couldn't care less about the Leafs.

Rangers 3-0 ... looks like they'll take this game.
Oh well ... ... that Shesternapkin dude is really good in net.

EDIT: Lesson for young Devils: be ready to play when the puck drops, comebacks are harder in playoffs.

someone forgot to tell Espo that contacts were a thing. Blind mother(frank)er. My Dad was at the game and he said you could hear the rats squeaking after that goal

You know what this thread needs to clear the air?

A good old bad performance by the Leafs in the playoffs tonight.

They've been playing very well in the 2nd period. It's worth a watch.
