There's a lot of blame to go around right now but Lee and Horvat have been terribly disappointing, regardless of line matchups. We've excused Bo for his lack of scoring due to his faceoff prowess, but he wasn't even good in that regard last night.

I said this last night when the game was on. Horvat has become a non entity. When he first came over from Vancouver he was getting great chances and not finishing. Now he's not even getting chances. Are we to believe his scoring was based on his linemates? Pettersson? Where has his offensive game gone?

Hopefully getting him away from Staal will help, but let's face it, he wasn't doing much before this series either

getting him away from Staal just means taking shifts against Aho or Kotkaniemi instead.

Probably a bit easier to get up the ice but harder to defend.

We'll see what Lanes choice is. As I said, Horvat and Lee's lack of productivity were noted prior to this series, so this is more about them than their opponent.

Lee's lack of foot speed is really hurting him in this series thus far. That wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't also losing the board battles.

Does Lee even have feet?

He may no longer have any feet. He may have lost his hands as well.

Said the same thing earlier

The problem is he's also failing in areas that aren't related to speed. He's losing a lot of physical battles. I don't expect Anders to surprise anyone with his burst at this point but I also don't expect to see him get dropped along the boards or cleared out from the crease as easily as he does now.
