Well I won't speak to Tom's narrative or whatever you guys have going on but what I will say is that saying a team doesn't have any chance at winning a playoff series that they had +105 odds to win doesn't sound like a very analytic-based take to me

You are truly blinded by hate.
I (and many others, I'm sure) have read every post written on every blog on here for longer than I can estimate and he didn't say anything even remotely like that.

No. He said he has no faith in the Rangers organization. As in, the front office and there approach to constructing a team. He has also listed issues with the coaching staff.
Personally, I know a fair bit about the game of hockey and about our players. I watch every second of every game, win or lose, so I think I know the true nature of this team and where they excel and have difficulties. Because of this, I don't give a flying (frank) about the analytics, or anyone else's opinion.
You have all the tools you need to be happy, my friend. Except perhaps logical reasoning.

they play an annoying style of game though. Everything is just clogged. If the islanders slow the game down to a snails pace they can win.
