Me too. Suspect there might be a sizable fight next time around because of all this. |

Part of the concern for me is that there are a lot of things that aren't considered "Hockey Related Revenue" so the owners get a bigger share of the pot to begin with despite the players being the only product they have.
Not a fan of how that's split up to artificially keep the cap lower. - BINGO!
Because the Billionaires wanna keep the cost of labor as low as possible. Great sport, even better athletes, poop league. |

We all know it’s a long series. Good initial effort by Rangers. Devils should be a more settled team Thursday |

On Chytil and the “Kid Line”
https://twitter.com/nhldo...&t=TjVF8knYfhOudT98NT3GtQ - airjan23
Last full paragraph of the piece:
"We're a third line, but most of the season we were so consistent with how we played," Chytil said. "We played together for a longer period and after the trade deadline we were putting up consistently the numbers. Even when we didn't produce, we still had chances. We could change the game with how we play the game in the offensive zone and with our energy. When you look around the locker room we have big names, but also us, and we can do this."

TPC and I made some great jokes at his expense and he wasn't here to appreciate them. |

His GF is never around when there's roasting either.

Pains me to do this here but I have tried for days to sell to a NJD fan.....
Can no longer make the game so I am selling my 2 tickets to tomorrow night's (4/20 7pm)
Section 118, row 8 - looking to get $500 for the pair (less than what I paid).
Let me know if interested. Thanks! |

Thanks. I can't believe it either honesty.
To be fair, I think the ticket prices for this series (and playoffs in general) are a bit of a shock to most Devil fans. I've reached out to countless friends/fam who are Devil fans but say these are just too much $$ - and this is face value!
If you look on Ticketmaster, after fees and such these are about $300+ each. Devil fans have never seen those kinds of prices before. Thinking it was a way to 1) combat resale attempts 2) keep ranger fans out of Rock by pricing similar to that of MSG |

So I’m an idiot. My phone somehow went dead overnight and I couldn’t get it to charge or turn on or anything all day. So I just go to Verizon and he hits the 3 buttons and boom it works it’s like cmon man why can’t they just tell you this when you get there when you buy it grrr anyway I missed all the chatter lol. Not reading back. Exciting win. Some bad things but overall a very impressive win imo.
Kane sucked. Idc. He’s eventually going to find a way where he makes a difference. He looks old and slow so he’ll need to find a gear
Goodrow. Best game he’s ever had as a Ranger. That’s why he got 3.6 million bucks a year
Lindgren is my hero. What a goal. And the kid line really set that up with a grinding shift so they get credit on that goal too, or should. They all had a good game imo
I think the top 6 is going to try and play a bit more defensive minded, vs this devil forward group and do their damage on the PP. I think the offense stats could be a bit weak as the series goes along, as long as win who really cares.
Shesty. What a game. Cool -calm -collected- confident, things he lacked on occasion throughout the regular season. Just thinking back to games 3 and 4 at Pittsburgh, and how bad he was. Complete 180.
Refs/PK. Astounding. To do that vs that team is the most impressive thing of the night. And one of the worst officiated games I’ve ever seen so bad
1 down, 15 to goooooo

It’d be a shame if mika can’t get any offense going 5v5 but it worked out so far - picklerick
He’s got a huge task in front of him with 2 centers to shutdown, not one (depending shift to shift). I will say. I know the PP looks great, but still don’t get why he left that circle spot for that lethal slapper, and now is in the bumper. Whatevs, hard to argue how it looked
