In regards to Bedard this would be the best spot from a financial standpoint for the NHL. Good for the league and sport. Think of the jersey sales and merchandise he would sell in Montreal. Sellouts. TV Ratings. Beer sales. It's bad business to have one of your premiere franchises that largely built the NHL go 40 years without a franchise generational talent at forward. Last player with an 80+ point season was the legend Kovalev in 2007...
