I expect Nosek to be sitting for a couple after last night. Between him and Bergeron out (and Krejci seemingly kicked out of the dot everytime now), faceoffs are going to become a huge issue. Need to clean that up quick.

Physicality won out last night. Regardless of the number of hits (I know we out hit them), they were pushing us around for far too much of the game. Not calling for cheap shots, but liberties need to start being taken. Wear them down.

Krejci leading forwards on ice time and having 6+ minutes on the PP isn't the right recipe. They had 20 seconds of a 5 on 3. Offensive zone face off. Barkov vs Krejci. He's going to lose that faceoff every time.


I understand trying to keep your cool and not get frustrated but I would have liked to see a little push back last night prior to falling down by 4 goals. They were just taking the bullying.

Bunting's hit was stupid. Period end. However, 3 games is way way excessive. In playoffs 1 game counts as more and 1 game should be enough. Once again, the DOPES continue to be wildly inconsistent and wholesale incorrect. They're useless.

Honestly, i cant even find a good angle of the elbow. Everything is so far away. Also, why are Staals legs flying out backwards? Flop city.

I found a kind of closer angle and still can’t even tell if he caught him with an elbow. What video am I missing?

There needs to be consistency for sure. Then again how many years have we all been saying that. Its gotten to the point where the officiating and the DPS response or lack there of is just an evil we all get to deal with. Frustrating at times to be sure.

All the videos were taken from the international space station. From what I see, Nosek rases his arm to clip Staal in the head with an elbow. It wasn't called on the ice, but should be reviewed by DPS in my opinion.

I did but the only contact i see in the video is Eric Staal acting like he got shot and then his face hits Noseks ass/hip on the way down. Nothing natural about the way he reacted to Nosek going at him. I don't see an angle with Nosek catching him with an elbow. I could be wrong i just haven't seen the contact.
