Rutta was dece, just overpaid. I think he might be dumpable to a team that might think he’s a capable second pairing guy. Petry I think we may just have to hope a second year in the system will do him good.

As a diehard Pens fan I really dont give much of a sh!t about this...but it would be nice for a majority of the people I love, and care about in this life, to get rewarded for their unwavering loyalties their whole life....plus hockey is like a religion up here haha

I agree. Rutta was just a case of a player we could sign for $1.5M and we decided to give almost $3M.

Petry is not a bad player, just not worth his cap hit. He's more like a $4.5-5M guy tbh.

I hope we can find a way to re-sign Zucker for less than $4.5M.

If the Islanders find a way to come back they could get dangerous. Carolina is really good at laying on the ice like they’ve just been shot in the back with a 12 gauge loaded with rock salt though.

Islanders aren't that good of a team this year, dude. They have the best goalie in the league and that's the biggest factor of how they squeaked in. Pens almost squeaked in despite their goalies. Canes are down two very important top 6 wingers and still MAJORLY outplayed them in game 4.

I was only speaking of the last game and its not even close. Canes majorly outplayed them.

As for this past regular season, which I also spoke of, they are bottom 10'ish in all 5 on 5 metrics as far as I know.
