Since JRR stole my bit and is now mu mortal enemy, I guess I just have game thoughts.
Great game from the 2nd period on. 1st period kinda went how I expected. Devils started really strong. The Goodrow failed clear killed me at the time. The rest of the game awesome. Only mistake was Kredier blind pass to J. Hughes at the end of the game.
Kreider, best net front presence in the league. Confirmed by Kane. Love Tarasenko setting the tone in both games. Igor, still great. Mikkola another strong subtle defensive game. Miller and Trouba were better. Fox, Norris trophy. Kid line really worked the puck in the offensive zone. Everybody played well. Top to bottom.
Kane. As much as disliked his game, that might be one of the best goals I've seen a Ranger score in the playoffs since I've been alive. He did everything on that play. Just the perfect goal. Gotta respect and acknowledge that. - tomburton99

Kane also had like 3 great chances that Vanecek stopped. He could’ve had a 4pt night, maybe a hattrick if memory serves correct |

As good as Adam Graves was in front of the net, Kreider is exponentially better. It's unreal!
Kane made that play look easy like Gretzky used to do. So smooth. |

That first chance through a screen was almost money. Knew right away he was on a mission. |

Nope, I'm always gonna be a hump to certain people. Those people and I don't respect each other. Let's just be honest.
But I also can be honest in writing, that the goal was an elite goal from player who's done that before. Again, he did everything on that goal. Forced Marino and Bratt into the same space, lifted Bratt's stick, batted the puck away, caused Marino to panic and take Kredier, look off pass deke, backhand roof, score. It's an elite goal, Not saying that would really give to what am I now. So onward and upward.
Side note: Bratt was so dejected, he didn't take a stride from the Devils blueline until Kane scored. |

Kreider has been honing this for so long it looks completely automatic at times. He is so in sync with his teammates, I have never seen anything like it before on this team. |

It's not close. Kreider is the best the Rangers have had and is currently the best in the league doing. It's unbelievable. Helps the Devils refuse to cover him. |

My whole point was even at 80% (hip), is better than Niederrieter, for instance, at 100%. It is one game but he looked like he was in his 20s last night |
