It's really frustrating because NJ didn't play all that well. The Rangers just didn't seize the opportunity to put a strangle hold on this series.

I agree. I'm still confident they take this series but game 4 is pretty close to a must win if they want the possibility of a deep run. Can't keep having 6-7 game slug fests.

I expect a hall of fame type performance out of Schmid if he starts. We love making 2nd and 3rd stringers look like legends against us.

Rangers strategy was to shoot high on Schmid, which makes sense. But have to hit the net, Trouba and Tarasenko both missed the net on attempts.

I mean it sucks losing in ot, and they certainly blew a number of pp and chances by missing the net, but if they win game 4 it will be 3-1 rangers. I think anyone would have signed up for that. That said, need more scoring from guys not named kreider and tarasenko. Panarin really struggled in this one

I mean he didn't steal the game by any means. I just think the devils played way better top to bottom cuz their season was on the line, and we didn't match our level from newark. I think vanecek makes all the same saves tonight if he's in net, none were that high quality

That penalty was such bs timing too. Knew it would be a goal coming after they benched hughes to start the pp prior to that, and then they put him on to start the next one after the bs call

Yeah, still can't believe that bullpoop call. I get the roughing call on igor but it should have been offsetting with meier being penalised. Terrible.

Rangers always seem to try and get too cute at home. The overpassing is infuriating.

Need to win next game and keep this series short.

They were the better team but couldn’t execute. Can’t go 0 for 5 on the pp. can’t miss all those shots on net. And stop over passing
