Crazy they got rid of a guy like that
- mr.peanut

Lehkonen is a great compliment to a very good team, he needed that change and it wasn't a bad trade for the habs. the Danault situation was handled poorly on both sides imho, but while it sucks he's gone he isn't an irreplaceable star player either, Suzuki being a better two-way center anyway.

but KK at that price, (frank) that lol.

Thanks Karine ! Another amazing blog.
Unfortunately Laval s loss is an indicator that the Habs prospect pool is very weak and the habs will most likely spend the next decade as a bubble team. Go bruins!!

would you rather get inform?

some posters are not really here to talk or chill with others anyway

I would rather laugh about it than get mad for something like that on a nice saturday

mtl best prospects were already with the Habs, in junior, in europe or in college.

Is it physically possible for Sportsnet to get any more Winnipeg meat in their mouth?

For Dubois, this is what I think too…

That pick + one of Harris or Struble would work…

Not sure the Jets would like to have Edmonson but if they want him…

Anyway, after the Dach trade, I think we may get shocked again this coming off season…

Passing on Matvei Michkov is like passing on Kutcherov…

That kid with Dach or Dubois would give an amazing 1-2 even 3 punch…

That war in Russia will have to end and if it does not, hockey will not mean anything anyway so…

From Russia with love…

Not sure this is relevant…. In the sense that if someone would kill my father to keep me out of playing in the NHL, not sure it would work…

Also, pretty sure this will be discussed with the kid before the draft through contacts in Russia…

Anyway it is all speculation… Will see how all this plays out this summer…

I trust current management to take a good decision…

what I'm saying is his father's death may not even be hockey-related, and perhaps he's fearful that other members of his family might be in danger if he chooses to leave the country. if teams can manage to get information about what's going on it may help convince them of picking him high in the draft, but it does look like a very complicated risk that goes way beyond a hockey draft. I don't see how you could consider this irrelevant, wtf.

I wouldn't mind picking him up in the later rounds if he's still available but there's no way I would risk wasting a high draft pick on him.

Last thing we need is another distraction.

noice, sure!

I recall going to a restaurant called the Mongolian Hot Pot, where they give you a little stove and a cauldron and you just put all kinds of meat and veggies in there and let it cook, it was pretty good.
