I wonder what the rule book says about a player like Necas throwing a punch at a guy sitting on the bench like Nelson who hasn't done a thing other than maybe chirp or laugh at him?

Not sure but I thought that was a hysterical moment of the game.

It should have been a penalty but funny none the less. I believe it’s an automatic ejection, suspension, fine, for attacking a player on the bench I would think that same rule would apply when the opposing player is in that same bench.

If that is actually the case I wonder if the league will follow up? Probably not.

Didn't notice it at first either, but someone, I forget who, mentioned it during one of the times it was replayed. It didn't make sense why he would punch Nelson, who was two players away, and not the guy right next to him. In that context it makes total sense.

Seemed like possibly his ribs the way he was clutching his side. I figured broken shoulder when it happened. That was a scary collision

I'm not a big fan of the Bolts, but I want to see the leafs lose. BTW that has nothing to do with Tavares.

Ditto. But seeing Tavares lose is nice too. Vasilesky has not had a good year. The GWG, a 65mph short-side floater that he saw all the way beats him high. Awful

Bolts had Leafs on the ropes and let them back in...Game 3 was a good watch...Hopefully the Bolts can tie it up...

Raanta did give up four goals last game but I don’t disagree completely. I think there’s a chance he may want to change it up none the less. Andersen has been a bit of a coin flip in the playoffs over the years. Either real good or real bad.
