As the date of the draft lottery nears, there will be more and more talk about the upcoming draft and given the current circumstances in Russia, chance are we’ll hear a lot more about top Russian prospect Matvei Michkov dropping.

More than 400,000 are without power this afternoon, according to the Hydro-Québec's online outage tracker.

Those customers are spread across several regions including Montreal, Montérégie and Quebec City. Earlier this month, an ice storm knocked out power for more than one million customers.

- AGalchenyuk27

We lost power for 5 hours the other day on a nice and sunny warm afternoon. No wind in sight, even.

Hydro is a (frank)ing broken mess network held together with dollar store duct tape.

I think it really depends what pick the Habs have.

They probably should or at least consider passing on him for picks 4-6.

But if they draft 7th, and he's still on the board. I'm not passing on him.

Look at the Wild and Kaprizov, I don't care if it takes 3 years before he comes over if we can get a player like that.

- Scabeh

I am starting to accept the Habs will draft Zach Benson at #6....because they know Dubois is coming over.

I don't care about the 3yrs personally, nobody except the top 3 picks will play in the NHL for 2yrs. Question is will he EVER be able to come over....

you think a rebuilding team will take a chance on him early? Not saying he does not have the talent, just that he might never come over. The team better be damn sure they have a plan to bring him over.

I feel like the top 6 is pretty much "set".

1 will be Bedard.

2-3 Will be Fantili and Carlsson

4-5-6 should be Michkov, Smith and Benson.

At #7, it really starts being more of a crapshoot between alot of options.

So if any of the 6 guys I've mentionned are still there at #7, I pick him.

My #7 is currently Sale but I might be alone on my island.

With Craig Button.

With Dubois coming over (let's assume), Habs will be in need of wingers....and who is the best winger in the draft?

I think Bobrov will push for Michkov but I think HuGo will play it safe with this pick
