This rebuild is going great! A bust with the first over all pick followed by a player who will never play for the team.

i found new bets to make.

i have mcdavid to take over 3.5 shots.

same bet with draisaitl.

sorokin to give up over 2.5 goals.

both teams to score in the 1st period of the kings/oil game.

plus all those guys to have at least one point that i mentioned earlier (actually the draisiail bet is to have at least 2 points)

those seem like sound bets.

what are McDavid's and Drycycle's averages for shots on net per game? probably higher than 4 I would assume.

i didn't even look. i just went with blind faith that those are the guys that take the most shots. sometimes the payout helps show you too. i could tell by the payouts that these were the players most likely to win the bet. they payout goes up the more ridiculous it is. like a dollar might pay $0.81 on mcdavid to get 4 shots, but a dollar might pay $1.50 if you make the same bet on kailer yamamoto.

makes sense, if you want to make more money you have to be able to identify those unlikely picks.

yeah. doing that is so much easier betting football than hockey though. hockey really is hard to bet. baseball too. i guess that's why i try the in-game bet thing and wait to see how the first period is going. just trying to get any advantage on my one dollar bet lol!

besides in the long run it's probably way more advantageous to rely on winning multiple smaller yet safer bets than betting on risky poop.

for sure. if i was betting big chunks of money like real people do that's the way i'd try to go i think. just chip away and slowly build a pile of money. every little once in a while try a long shot but mostly just chip away.
