Imagine Mcdavid, Pasternak McKinnon Robertson, and the Canes eliminated in the first round. - Grinder47
Oh I can imagine it...id be fine with all of it except McDavid. Wouldn't mind seeing him hoist at all... Plus he's the most entertaining guy to watch. |

Your list is solid, but if I needed to pick a player to win me a game, I'd pick Crosby ahead of about 2/3 that list. - SuperHenderson13
What year do you live in? Cause Crosby needed to win a game against Chicago a couple weeks ago and failed. |

I almost responded with “and also The Rock” having no idea that people called him Dewey until I googled it. Shows what I know about WWE. - Victoro311
I just know that is what Warren Sapp always refers to him as when he is poopting on him. |

It’s a lot less scripted than people would have you believe. It’s kind of like a Pens PP, there’s a basic outline but eventually every player just floats up high and plays tiddlywinks with the puck instead of planting Carter right infront if the net and blasting shots away. - Grinder47
A friend of mine used to wrestle, not the big time, shall we say he was in the 'A'. They practice the match for weeks before they perform. There may be some adjustments to the script, but not much. They know exactly what each other is doing. |

Change that narrative bud. “Wrestling” is stupid. |

This is the most effort RW has put into a blog in years. Maybe time to admit to yourself that you've lost interest and put your energy towards things that you actually enjoy. |

Taking it seriously enough to have disdain for it is stupid. It's just cirque du soleil with a soap opera narrative. |

I've expected him to do that for a few years now. Doesn't seem to care or even enjoy it. |

I mean, RW tried something different here. I will never knock someone for trying new things. The effort level is through the roof, though hahah. The length of it reminds of blogs from years ago haha
I will knock that kind of wrestling though...its f'n wack hahaha |

Nah bro. It’s barely scripted and they are better athletes than real sports like football. |

A lot of times guys have an hr before the gig to “script” there match. Football coaches have a week to script their games. Wrestlers 250 plus lbs have to be able to climb balance and fly through the air while avoiding injury, the fat guys in football move 3 yards at a time while falling on each other. Then they get a nice long breather. The skinny guys in football just run a scripted route for a scripted play. The WB is usually tall he has to react a little bit. It’s like glorified little league for dummies. |

"Wrestling" is reality TV for fat mouth breathers that think they're badasses. |

Yeah most wrestling fans I know fully acknowledge the absurdity and just have fun with it. That’s why I don’t really look down on the fandom, just think the actual product is dumb and not for me, which is fine. Grinders really the only guy I’ve come across that feels the need to defend WWE on its merits as a professional sports league. |

Yep. I've always assumed people get into it when they're kids and stick with it as adults. Not my thing. I've never met anyone who thinks there's anything real about it. I will acknowledge the athletic nature of all those moves. |

I'd agree with you if this were 2017. Crosby is still all all-star player, but he no longer can single-handedly win a game like he used to. |

One of these days I think a good topic would be a brutally honest look at each player. Even a lot of the stars that are still "playing at a high level" have still noticably declined.
My heart wants to take another run at at least getting back to the playoffs, but this team is missing so much it might not be feasible anymore. |
