I think Boston closes it out in 6, but Bobrovsky has been better than his play of late (he has an .895 save percentage, but Boston has been giving it to him) - and honestly Ullmark has been ok, but not great. I'd love to see Florida take it to 7 - as would any non-Bruins fan, I think.

watched the 2, 3 and overtime of the Bruins Panthers game.

two things that stood out... generally boring.

Bobrovsky was VERY good. great rebound control... he stole that one simply put.

I don't know if I agree with it on a professional level, but it's a damn good message for kids.

it should read “there’s are no failure in sports unless you play for the laffs…”

Saw the actual post game interview video of this, if you watch it you will come away realizing it definitely applies to pro sports. The full comment was directed a a reporter that ask him the exact same question last year about "failing" so he kinda called him out and put him in his place while delivering a simple yet profound statement that should resonate with all of us.

Not gonna lie, after watching it I came away feeling a little lighter about the Leafs game tonight or Leafs in general. It made sense.

Pretty cool and unexpected moment from a pro athlete.... and I kinda loved it.

Having everything at the tip of your hands is a huge societal problem

no doubt ... having your banking and investment info wired into the same device (computer or phone) on which you gamble probably not the best idea

c'mon Wedgie... kids for the last twenty years have not ever failed at anything - haven't you seen all the ribbons and trophies.

they all win all the time

I can't tell you my reaction when the little kids soccer team I helped coached years ago came in 4th or 5th in their league and they got trophies. I mean seriously - no wonder these kids need to learn how to compete when they get older.

anytime you can put a child in their place and make sure they dont feel good about playing sports, you have to do it

Kids see right through the bullpoop.

I can see giving kids a trophy at the very youngest levels, but after that, it doesn't mean anything to them. It's a waste of time, it's a waste of money, and all it does is produce tonnes of plastic waste for the landfill.

My kids don't keep any participation trophy - they know it's a joke.

As a coach, I can emphasize all of the positive things we've accomplished over the year. I don't need the franking trophy to do it.

It gets even weirder with participation medals for running races.

I'm proud of my Boston Marathon medal, because damn, I worked hard to get that one.

But a medal for every franking 5k, when I don't finish in the top 3 in my division?

And now it's gotten really weird - thanks to COVID, there's been an explosion of virtual races, where the big draw is to get a "stunning medal."

I could link to 1,000 of these, but here's the Mount Kilimanjaro Virtual Challenge:

https://www.theconqueror.events/kilimanjaro/

Sometimes the mountain will come to you, but only after you complete the challenge!

The Mt. Kilimanjaro Virtual Challenge takes you 60mi (97km) through the beautiful landscapes of the tallest mountain in Africa. [Note from Wedgie: ummmm, no, it actually doesn't.]

Each time you complete a distance-based exercise activity such as running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc, you advance along with the map of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Go solo or take advantage of our private community to start a group and help each other stay motivated and crush any obstacle.

Start your fitness journey with the Mt. Kilimanjaro Virtual Challenge today and earn a stunning medal!

Why the frank would anyone want a medal for this?

Are you really going to show it off?

\I've recently stumbled upon an incredible online casino on a website! I'm absolutely thrilled with the opportunities it offers. I've tried various games such as slots, blackjack, and roulette, and I must say https://ggbet1.net/en/casino my experiences have been nothing short of exhilarating. The site is user-friendly, game access is swift, and the graphics are eye-catching. Moreover, I found some enticing bonuses and promotions that give me even more chances to win. I can't wait to share this discovery with my friends so they can also experience the thrill and excitement I get every time I log into this online casino.
