Nobody dives like him on the leafs at all. If you think someone does please offer a name.
And yet again, he has notoriously ignored his coach numerous times during games. #nomorebunting - Dozzer
That's your determination, not a fact. Im positive he's far from the only one, unless someone's asked Holl to repeatedly screen the goaltender.
I don't care to get hung up on the word dive, its not a deal breaker in the grand scheme of things as the game is way bigger than any one thing a player does.
He's proven to be effective if aimed right. Maturity says the pros can outweigh the cons just like we were all able to recognize there was a bit more to like about Marner when he habitually fired the puck over the glass in critical moments.

So not a single name to be offered to answer my question then? Gotchya.
I don’t think his offensive talent is worth the nonsense he brings to the ice. End of MY point of view (I’ve never once claimed it to be otherwise).

Unlike everyone who gets mentioned to compare him to Bunting doesn’t fight. Didn’t at all his first season here, and only did in nearly the last game this year when Perry essentially forced him to up against the bench.
He also doesn’t listen to his coach and puts his own selfish feelings ahead of Keefe routinely.
There’s a reason even Arizona didn’t bring his skill set up to the NHL and it’s become very evident as to what it is. There likely isn’t another coach in the whole bloody league that would put up with him.
Can’t wait til he’s gone and I hope he never sees another game. - Dozzer
all valid opinions... however none of this excuses why the officials would and do treat him like they do. Officials have jumped in many times to stop chirp dirt bags from having the poop beat out of them.
Fact is that Bunting is treated unfairly by the officials. Whether he pisses off his coach is between him and his coach.
Those same officials give Stamkos and Matthews 5 each for fighting when Stamkos clearly jumps Matthews.
Bunting is suspended for a cheapshot to Czernak.
Maroon does was Clifford did last year and doesn't even get a review or penalty.
The officiating is unequitable - and no before some doink says it... - it doesn't always equal out.

According to my phone I got 8.4km of a walk in today actually - Dozzer
I pretty much get 15K steps daily... some days a bit more others a bit less. The state of ankles and knees simply means that those steps are either very painful or less painful given days.
its call getting old.. the chassis has a lot of mileage on it...

Bunting is a despicable loser who due to his play has made not only refs but the league dislike him. So because of HIS approach to the game he no longer gets any rope.
This is nothing new.
Also, he doesn’t listen to his coach 100% of the time so I’m kind of convinced at this point that Dubas is essentially trying to force things with Keefe but now it finally has gone too far even for the GM to go to bat for him.
Also, people talking about if he should be in the lineup or not blow me away… the leafs have won 3 games in a row, 2 as comebacks they took in OT, why the hell would any coach break up that current roster without an injury?

I never said I think there's a player on the leafs who dives more. There isn't. But who cares, there's someone on the team who does one thing more than everyone for everything.
I think getting hung up on such a one off largely irrelevant thing is childish.
Marner gave the puck away more than anyone by an absolute landslide. Is there more to Marner than that? Obviously. Is hating him because he gave the puck away so much acceptable? Your call I guess. Is calling him a loser for it incredibly immature? Yeah, more than likely.

Yeah I usually aim for closer to 15km as well but today was kind of bad. Had a tonic-clonic seizure around 7am so I didn’t even have it in me til around 2pm. Was feeling somewhat dizzy during the walk (nothing new after one of those) but I still was able to get a good distance in. Just stuck to busy neighbourhood a but away from the busy roads (Wortley Village here in London for instance)
I had the same disease as you when younger too but now they’ve given it a name lol

Marner is practically a 100P guy who plays both PP and PK so the answer is yes. (The more to him question)
Also that’s not the one thing I dislike about Bunting, I repeatedly say he routinely ignores his coach and that alone is enough of a reason to bench a guy. Couple it with being a penalty prone diver then no, I do not want him on the ice in that jersey ever again. I know I won’t get that lucky but here’s hoping he gets kicked out again right away.

Bunting has 23 goals, that's why I'd put him in. - Zezel
The only reason he has them was due to playing with Marner and Matthews, hence why Jarnkrok hit his first 20G season when he ironically picked up his scoring while on Matthews’ line.

I'm curious, cause I follow a lot of Leaf coverage and this ignoring the coach piece is new to me. Also heard a ton of Bunting talk this playoff and I missed that.

I think Bunting contributed to those lines too, playing the Hyman type puck retrieval role. If everyone just got goals on those lines Nick Ritchie would have too.

The ignoring coach angle is opinion based on assumption. I can do the same thing about a lot of players, I'm just not sure that me doing so would be justifiable to deem them losers and say they should never play for the team again.
You've clearly decided this is a hill worth dying on for you despite the weak logic behind it. There's no debate at that point.
I do hope when Bunting goes we can find another agitator who's good for 20 goals on the cheap and drives other teams nuts. I don't care if he fights, I don't care if he dives. My hope is that whoever it is can play their role effectively.

Even if the Jarnkrok angle is on point, Bunting did it twice, for more than half the money. That's huge in the cap world.
Find me another 20 goal scorer who gets other teams players off their games for less than a million bucks all day every day. If he can do it effectively I don't care what he does beyond that.
Getting suspended is not doing it effectively though, I will concede that much.

This is nothing new except that Keefe has begun trying to bench him for it more often
I remember this kind of behaviour clearly… he’s a legitimate loser. Why else would a 20 goal scorer talent not even be able to make Arizona? Coaches hate this guy.

You’re judgement of someone’s logic that doesn’t agree with yours is horribly rude and obnoxious, just an FYI.
The guy is a diver who doesn’t routinely listen to his coach, the (frank)er had 10 goals in 21 games with Arizona and they still sent him back down. This guy has skill but is not a NHL caliber player.

I don't man, I must have listened to a dozen hours of Leaf talk radio over the last week with a ton of Bunting talk, nobody even brought this up. I don't believe it's an actual thing that matters.

Not sure if Arizona's player movement choices are a good indication of anything tbh
