I don't man, I must have listened to a dozen hours of Leaf talk radio over the last week with a ton of Bunting talk, nobody even brought this up. I don't believe it's an actual thing that matters. - Zezel
Because it’s Toronto media. They’re not stupid. They bring it up and debate is over because any true hockey fan would say “if he’s truly not listening to the coach he shouldn’t be playing”
It’s what I believe you would think for instance if you were seeing a guy not listening to his coach.
Once again tho, the team has won three straight, two being comebacks won in OT, only a fool coach breaks up this lineup right now. |

I think Dozzer is trying really hard to justify his discontent for Bunting by making up strange ideas like that coaches hate him too and that it's easy to put up points with Matthews and Marner
These arguments don't hold any water. |

Not sure if Arizona's player movement choices are a good indication of anything tbh - Zezel
They tend to keep the cheap players with mediocre talent which is precisely what Bunting is. |

You guys do realize I don’t need your agreement to justify it to myself right?
You’re nothing more than media addicts who are hooked all over their most current stories for the most part. |

You’re judgement of someone’s logic that doesn’t agree with yours is horribly rude and obnoxious, just an FYI.
The guy is a diver who doesn’t routinely listen to his coach, the (frank)er had 10 goals in 21 games with Arizona and they still sent him back down. This guy has skill but is not a NHL caliber player. - Dozzer
It's because you continue to tell me how it is with your opinions that you're making sound factual. Nothing you've said is factual, it's just your interpretation. You don't realize how you talk down to people who challenge your odd against the grain opinions. |

I’ve routinely said openly they’re MY opinions, Jesus Christ do I have to say it every time?
You are a judgemental person who can never acknowledge they’ve crossed the line but I don’t repeatedly remind you of that.
I don’t like (frank)ing Bunting, he’s a poopty loser hockey player and you’ll never convince me otherwise. In case you don’t remember it was ME who said I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree and YOU kept the (frank)ing debate up. I’m just going to start ignoring this poop from posters like you. |

Bunting is a despicable loser who due to his play has made not only refs but the league dislike him. So because of HIS approach to the game he no longer gets any rope.
This is nothing new.
Also, he doesn’t listen to his coach 100% of the time so I’m kind of convinced at this point that Dubas is essentially trying to force things with Keefe but now it finally has gone too far even for the GM to go to bat for him.
Also, people talking about if he should be in the lineup or not blow me away… the leafs have won 3 games in a row, 2 as comebacks they took in OT, why the hell would any coach break up that current roster without an injury? - Dozzer
We may have won game 1 if he hadn't done that. And, I don't trust that he won't do it again. I think he technically should be in the lineup, but I don't think you CAN put him in.
Regrettable situation.
Maybe he plays Game 6 if the Leafs fall AND somebody has a bad game.

I've typically been the first to acknowledge when I cross the line. You've challenged me for not liking Kerfoot, and I challenged you for not liking Bunting. It's really not that big of a deal.
You're just as quick to discredit someone's opinion by saying they're suckers for the media and calling them names. I'm not the one routinely sat on here lumping leaf fans together to slam them all as fools, be it over refs or Holl or whatever.
You chastise people for apparently acting just like you do on here religiously. So do your thing, but do so knowing I'm not the one calling players poopty (frank)ing losers so maybe dont be such a hypocrite about it when you're talking down to us. 🤷 |

I even think not giving a guy a bounce back chance unless the game was due to a lack of caring would be wrong at this point. I mean 3 wins in a row now?
I get what you’re saying he’s also too high of a risk, especially against a team known to turn games into penalty circuses. |

Bloody Soucy comment, imo. 🤭
We cannot trade Holl anyhow. If we did, he'd become Nik Lidstrom-esque and win 5 cups.

And because both cars were made by GM, were both cars available in metallic mint green paint? |

Maybe because game 3 was a miracle? Tampa absolutely dominated that game. The Leafs were lucky, luck like they almost never get to win that game.
And Tampa dominated the better part of 2 periods game 4. Sweet comeback for sure, and a well deserved win for the Leafs, but that game could have went differently.
It's not like leaving Bunting out has turned the series around by having the Leafs dominate at every turn.
It's obvious you have a serious dislike of Bunting, and I'm sure my points won't change it, but Bunting is a better player than many of the others who are in this lineup.
And this idea that he's a selfish player who ignores or disrespects his coach is a stretch really. He wouldn't have been playing in the top 6 and PP2 if he didn't deserve it.
I'm not a Bunting lover. Like he's the best Leaf ever etc... Nor do I think they can't win game 5 without him. I just like the lineup better with him in it.
Bunting Matthews Nylander
Knies JT Marner
Jarnkrok ROR Acciari
Kerfoot Kampf Lafferty
You could flip Bunting and Jarnkrok, but I think Jarnkrok has been invisible and a bit of a play killer. |

I prefer the translucent gummy actually. But I got completely off gummies by discovering kumquats, which are a healthy delivery system for sweet and sour. I'm eating the poop out of them. |

They're great if you love tangy citrusy bites. Just be careful not to sit and munch down too many of them, or the mail will start moving priority express instead of regular ground parcel.
