Yeah man, he's doing a great job. Who was the coach last year when this team blew a 2-0 series lead? I'm sure you won't answer.

Gallant. Who was the coach when they came back from being down 3-1 last year also?

They are on verge of losing 8 straight after taking 2-0 leads in past 2 series!

I agree completely. Just bad luck that was their year.

I remember suggesting a trade down to accumulate as much assets as possible and was laughed at. Not that I didnt think LAF would be good, but felt we had a lot of holes and could bave benefited more with multiple top 10 picks than the #1. Was happy at the time with whatever.

Has nothing to do with the 19 guys actually playing the game. Everything to do with the coach not actually playing the game.

Kane off the top line. Smart move
- nyrangers9479

You should be pleased that Kane won't be brought back next season.

Let's be real, they nearly blew that series vs an aging pens team that missed the playoffs this year and a 3rd string goalie.

Gallant. Again nobody cares that that the Rangers came back against a Penguins team that started a 3rd string goalie in 5 games. You're literally the 2nd straight series he's been out coached in when his team was winning 2-0.

You wanna blame certain players. Fine. All the players deserve blame as does the coach.

No he's not. We saw it here first hand. Also had good teams and players both Buffalo and Dallas. Failed to win at both stops. He's just a coach who's done the job for a long time.
- tomburton99

I thought he did fine in Buffalo. However sometimes a coach ends up in a spot that works perfectly for him. Maybe this could be it for Ruffz. You think Jon Cooper is as good a coach outside of Tampa? I dont. He ended up in a good spot, with guys that fit right in with his coaching style.

Mate, please tell me who is defending the players??? No one is, they have poop the bed, but that doesn't mean Gallant doesn't have responsibility in this. He's been badly outcoached. Both can have blame, as does drury

He's literally the coach. The (frank) you mean it has nothing do with playing the game? That's part of his job.

He was great in buffalo tbh. I use to live there when he was the coach, he got a lot out of teams that didn't spend much. Probably would have won the cup after the lockout if Jay mckee and a few other dmen didn't get injured.

Jon Cooper has won a championship at every stop he's coached at. Professional and amateur. If that is all luck, he's the luckiest person in sports.

Of course the Rangers don’t get a McKinnon McDavid, Hughes type speedster with their 1OA. Such a Rangers thing to do.
- TC88

Real talk. This is what is killing us. I get the ice time and unique situation to be drafted into argument, but we still needed more from those #1 and #2 OA picks

The Kid line has been a total wash this series. Nothing from Zib either.

Depth us key in the playoffs, we havent had it from out bottom 6.

Disappointed in all 3, but Chytil especially. Had a terrible game in game 3 I thought. Was fighting the puck that whole game

Again, Devils won’t play this free in game 6. Let’s see how they handle the pressure.
