Expected more out of Bread after last season's playoffs. - Fenrir
I am close to done with him. If they do lose this series Drury has to do whatever he can to try to convince him to waive his no trade |

Yea same. He needs to go I think. I’d even retain a portion. They need faster players not creative players

A lot of you mirror my feeling from last night. The loss sucked, but the effort level was the most disappointing part. The rangers have been pushed around by a soft young devils team for the past 3 games. Letting guys run into and fall on Igor. Push his stick away like Meier did. We were getting bullied last night by our younger brothers and it was embarrassing.
They need to score goals, but if this kid is going to make the first save they have to make life difficult and they haven't done that at all. When he covers the puck they should be jamming sticks into him, "falling" on him, etc.
It was obvious they were going to lose from the start last night, but at least put some doubt into NJ going back to NY for game 6. They didn't do any of that and NJ is probably as confident as they've been all year going into tomorrow night
If they go out with a whimper tomorrow it will be a very sad end to what was a really fun and promising year |

That's going to be almost impossible. He's on the wrong side of 30 and it's a full NMC. They can't send him to the AHL. He has all the power. |

Yep even retaining like 3 million would save the rangers almost 8 lol |

I know, but what I'm saying it's an empty threat. Panarin knows that. |

IDK. I thought Zib had a decent compete level at certain times last night. Other times I thought maybe he was a little defeated by realizing none of his teammates were going to try and match it.
Just an absolutely embarrassing effort. Every one of us cares more than every single member of the (frank)ing team, maybe excepting Igor. It's infuriating. Gallant's idea of adjusting is to move players around and employ the exact same (frank)ing tactics that have been shoved down his throat time and time again. Panarin simply cannot stop himself from passing along the blue line. It's an absolute addiction. Nor will he go anywhere near an area that he might get roughed up.
I am eternally optimistic and I am (frank)ing done.
And if have read one more ridiculously (frank)ing stupid comment from nyranger8675309 about how it's all Kane's fault I might do something drastic. Calling it a lazy penalty when he's the only guy in position to try and prevent a breakaway.
Dumbest (frank)ing thing I've ever heard. - Tonybere
This is not Kanes fault. Its a good penalty to take. What killed the Rangers was the specialty teams. Once the Devils made their adjustments the Rangers never did and here we are. |

I really do think part of this falls on GG. He needs to put his players in the best position to succeed. Ruff made his after game 2, GG hasnt made an adjustment yet. Leaves PP 1 with all passers on the unit. My daughter was yelling at the TV to shoot!! Pretty bad when a 14yo knows you need to shoot to score. |

With the team we have, they can definitely pull it off, its just after watching these last 3 games it looks like they are disinterested. |

That’s the big thing for me. I can take losing and getting beat. It happens, not easy to beat good teams. But can’t stand the rolling over and dying and looking disinterested |

Like you I'll be watching. I watch because I'm a god damn idiot. But to me, this team is done. After a stinker in game 4, to follow that up with an even worse effort in game 5? (frank) them. Go out like bums. Get it over with. |

My wife too!! Also she goes, “how come all the Devils players play really tight around their goal when the Rangers are trying to score, but the Rangers just easily let them in.” Despite all the frustration, was pretty proud of her for picking up on that. |

I can’t pin much on GG. Jmo. These players aren’t doing enough. Would he get fired? Nothing would surprise me
Ruff has horses we don’t have. Speed for days |

Good morning boys. Just read all the comments. Pretty much spot on. The lack of apparent effort and being outplayed and out coached is extremely demoralizing. Gallant looked like he was trying to avoid ripping his team, instead finding whatever positives that exist. |

this is like Mike Sullivan, everybody ripped on him for years when he was Rangers assistant and then he goes on to win Cups
and everybody ripped on Lindy Ruff, HARSHLY, when he was here, now he's become some super genius

The game 3 loss changed the series. They were the better team and should’ve won that game.
The last two games were pathetic. Too many perimeter some players that have no juice or energy. Gallant has been bad but I think the players have been worse. Only Igor has come to play. Heads will roll when they lose Saturday |

Sullivan is excellent WHEN he gets the players that fit his system; aggressive risk takers that have the mobility to compensate for those risks. Without that, he is very mediocre. Doesn't have any flexibility at all (Kessel). Sullivan deserves to be fired after this season and his horrendous lineup choices (Carter and Dumoulin). |

I've used the same defense of him, TJ. But, I'm done. He has not tried to change one thing in the way we play. Not (frank)ing one! Switching a couple passive, uncaring players to different lines is bullpoop. Not even trying to find a solution.

Before this season, Devils fans wanted him gone as well. But the narrative now has clearly changed, at least as of this moment. |
