Before this season, Devils fans wanted him gone as well. But the narrative now has clearly changed, at least as of this moment.

I think 2 weeks ago I saw Devil fans wanting him gone lol

I've used the same defense of him, TJ. But, I'm done. He has not tried to change one thing in the way we play. Not (frank)ing one! Switching a couple passive, uncaring players to different lines is bullpoop. Not even trying to find a solution.

I blame the players more then GG

If GG wants to make a statement sit Laf and call up Cuylle. Laf has brought nothing this series, absolutely nothing. Idk if they’d do that tho since Hartford is in its own playoff run. What’s he gonna do? Shuffle the lines?. He’s got his 20 guys and that’s it. Devils are faster and we’re slower. Devils get to every loose puck everywhere on the ice and to me that’s the difference after game 2.

IDK. I thought Zib had a decent compete level at certain times last night. Other times I thought maybe he was a little defeated by realizing none of his teammates were going to try and match it.

Just an absolutely embarrassing effort. Every one of us cares more than every single member of the (frank)ing team, maybe excepting Igor. It's infuriating. Gallant's idea of adjusting is to move players around and employ the exact same (frank)ing tactics that have been shoved down his throat time and time again. Panarin simply cannot stop himself from passing along the blue line. It's an absolute addiction. Nor will he go anywhere near an area that he might get roughed up.
I am eternally optimistic and I am (frank)ing done.
And if have read one more ridiculously (frank)ing stupid comment from nyranger8675309 about how it's all Kane's fault I might do something drastic. Calling it a lazy penalty when he's the only guy in position to try and prevent a breakaway.
Dumbest (frank)ing thing I've ever heard.

- Tonybere

He was so good he was the absolute last player on Toms chart. But u keep thinking he’s playing well bud, that first penalty he took was as lazy as they come.

You’re correct based on last year lol I definitely feel the same as I did when they were down 3-1 to the Pens. Devils are different animal tho.

igor was a big issue last year early in that series too, which he's not this year, so not realistic to expect him to turn it up another notch. considering the game 4 loss and how we were all expecting them to show up in game 5 and they didn't, i really have 0 hope for game 6.

if we lose, i hope the boos rain down louder than ever

Chytil Zib Panarin Laf the list goes on and on. Everyone is waiting for something to happen rather than trying to make something happen. If we exit in the first round (which I don’t think we will) Panarin needs to go.

This Devils team is a SC contender. Pens last season were not. Rangers aren't eliminated yet.

Again, nobody said he was good. You're your own bogeyman.

Edit: Also finally agreeing with the charts. What a morale victory for me.

only 2 goals in the last 3 games and we're still outscoring the devils 12-11 in this series. as TPC said, blew our load in the first 2 games.

Watching this series says one thing. The only untouchables on this team are fox and Igor. Everyone else is very replaceable

I love Fox, but that may have been the worst game I’ve ever seen a Ranger play by him last night. Wtf was he doing in the Haula goal? Lindgren too. He was all alone with 10 ft of space in front of the net. The first goal was bad luck but a reflection of his entire game. The pass to Bread on the Mercer goal too, ooof

Absolute brutal. Can’t help but wonder if the game goes differently if that goal doesn’t go in. Worse case scenario. Thought they actually had a decent period otherwise. After the 2nd goal they packed it in.

I’d say Kreider is on there also. I’d really like if he could channel his younger years and throw a big hit tomorrow.
