remember in 1994 vs Devils, feeling after game 5?

I remember seeing video clips of them walking into practice at Rye being miserable

One huge difference between that team as this group.

Trouba gives the guarantee for game 6

He then proceeds to get a Trouba Hattrick, hospitalizing 3 devils players, we lose 4-1

If you have the intestinal fortitude to watch the highlights from last night's game, the play that drove me the most crazy was with 16:11 left in the 2nd. Haula just scored the 2nd goal and it was time to either take back the momentum or roll over.

Kid line is on the ice and Mikkola carries the puck down to the goal line and throws it on net. Chytil swipes at it and Kakko chips it weakly towards the net and Schmid dives over to glove it.

After that Kakko just skates away behind the net and Chytil just stands there. Only Mikkola comes barreling in to push anyone or get in Schmid's face. Kakko and Chytil's sticks should have been whacking at Schmid like crazy and we should've had a skirmish there instead of skating away sheepishly

maybe Panarin got a Nintendo Wii:

Super Nintendo almost destroyed Alex Kovalev's career: ”When I came to the NHL, I was a maniac. I had a Super Nintendo with the cartridges you were always changing. I had—and I’m not lying—about 35 or 40 games lying around the floor. When I woke up in the morning, I’d have breakfast while playing a game. Sometimes I’d be late for practice just to finish a level. After practice, I’d play again for 5-6 hours, get something to eat, and then play again sometimes late into the night. It was really bad. It got to the point where it was affecting my game.
Not sleeping, I’d forget things I needed to do on the ice. It was almost like you were going brain dead, and couldn’t remember what you usually do. At first, I thought maybe I was tired and needed to get more sleep. Then I realized sitting on the bench, I’d sometimes think about the game on the computer and not the hockey game. That’s when I realized it was going in the wrong direction. At one point, I came home, unplugged it and threw it away. I didn’t touch it at all until my kids were born.”

I hear they are addictive. I did play the hell out of my Atari 2600 when I was a kid.
My daughter's HS boyfriend gave her his old X-Box and included Skyrim for me. I played for 3 days straight over Christmas break until I got fed up with myself and threw it in a drawer. Never again.

Take a look at the third line left wing, deserved, but that will be the main topic of discussion.

So instead of the first shift of the game, it will now be on the third shift of the game where Panarin skates down the left wing, curls up near the blue line and tries to make an 80 foot pass across the ice that is intercepted. Got it.

Agreed but missing the point....I mean Laf has done little but clearly a message - rightly so - is being sent. That turnover on the PP was brutal

I saw the Rangers season standing at the gates waiting for entry, but I got distracted when Jerry Springer had apparently taken Barbara Walters seat and refused to give it back

That all wasn't on Panarin. That saucer pass by Fox was a grenade.
