We had that guy for Christ sakes ... instead we're stuck with Hoffman and "la grosse vache" Armia. - Garfield512
yeah, I was pissed to see him go but I got over it, clearly going to LA was a good move, he really looks happy over there and he fit in perfectly with the team from the get-go, so good on him. I'm confident the habs will still eventually have a very decent lineup down the middle in a not-so-distant future, with Suzuki and Dach leading the way, younger guys coming up and with the draft (Bedard, anyone?) it shouldn't be too shabby either.
... indeed, that was a desperate move. - Garfield512
the kings battled hard but the oilers managed to win and move on to the next round... after having that monumental brain fart, Skinner must feel as relieved as the laffs winning tonight lol.

Just saw Peanut in the street again, he's still running around naked all over the place ... poor guy never won anything.

since they're the habs' rivals I obviously don't enjoy seeing them win but good for them, people complain all the (frank)ing time in MTL but being a laffs fan must not be easy lol.

now for the curse of the second round to begin... - Pat1993
The Bruins still have to win tomorrow's game but a Boston-Toronto series would have a lot of history behind it for sure.
The B's have been underwhelming so far in the series, surprising considering the regular season they had. - Garfield512
I think it has a lot to do with the panthers being underrated, since they didn't have the greatest of seasons I know personally I had underestimated their chances of competing with Boston and giving them an actual challenge in that series... they do have some decent talent on their roster, and if the good version of Bobrovsky shows up again they could very well win tomorrow.

You're not alone believe me, I had the B's in 4 games.
Should be interesting how it turns out tomorrow.
Edit: In the bracket, I have the Avalanche going to the Stanley Cup finals but I'm seriously second guessing my pick as I'm not sure they'll go through Dallas.

hmm, and they do have to beat the kraken before that, which could also be a huge upset
there probably aren't a lot of folks who had guessed that poop would go to 7.

yeah, just like the draft I can't wait for this to be finally over, so we can then proceed to debate if the habs either made the right move in acquiring him, or if it was a good decision for them to stay away...
anyway he might not be in the same category as Crosby, Matthews, etc., but he's a damn good player, very skilled and likes to play physical. he definitely isn't Drouin 2.0 lol.

Ceci dit tout ce que l'on a à savoir ...
Skill is not everything ... tu ne gagne pas de championnats avec des gars comme ça.
