I've been saying for a while to my friends that for the Leafs to get true catharsis they need to take out TB and Boston in the same playoffs. They would be tossing monkeys off their back like an angry gorilla.

I have that . . .concern that teams aren't always ready for the first round, but if they get better as they move on, they become more difficult. Toronto has still not really meshed. Gio hasn't been great and Nylander and Tavares have to find some push at 5v5. Obviously there's a lot of room for the Leafs to improve from here.

But Boston is definitely the more dangerous team and I think they can be a lot better than the team we've seen against the Panthers.
