I just read something the other day about Grohl playing every part on the Foo's first album. The man's resume is legendary and there's not a single human who's done anything in the last 20 years of music that comes even close.

The price of decent vinyl is pretty insane these days. My Daughter gets a kick out of some of the old price tags on my collection. In the early 2000s I was picking up used stuff in mint condition for like 5 bucks. Or at local thrift stores for a quarter each.

Guess it depends on the criteria. I'm sure there's better singers, better writers, etc. I just don't see any resumes out there that stack up to his when all the chips are on the table.
