Sorry for the loss RJ./

Leafs v Panthers it is.

I like the Thachuk/Matthew-Marner competition and the goalie situation seems better for the Leafs v Panthers.

Bruins might've been too many dragons to slay too fast for the boys after just beating the Lightning and getting out of the first round, but damn that would've been good series.

So what do you fellow Leafers think: are we better suited to beat the Panthers or would've we been better with the Broons match up???

Nice.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World is such a joyful tune.

You can’t not like it.

Fun fact: they filmed their Head Over Heals video at U of T’s Robarts Library.

I took her to a Frank Black show for our first date. She loved it. I knew right then and there.

My personal favourite albums (not in order, except Dark Side) (not the albums I think should be considered the best of all time)-

Dark Side of the Moon
The Wall
Animals
Wish You Were Here
Rumours
Road Apples
Fully Completely
The Band
You Don't Mess Around with Jim
Americana

- GreatGigInTheSky

Honestly can't believe I forgot, but could easily put Queen on my list, too. Love Freddie.

Has to be a team effort on Tkachuk he’s just too good … old school power forward… and takes guys off their game … yet he thrives on the chaos…

I read Cats we’re top 3 in shots for expected GF and Gf… and with Tkachuk something like 68%

I was racking my brain hard for a queen album, they have so many killer songs, but they all seem to be spread through their discography and none of their albums are masterpieces from front to back, IMHO.

Their Live Aid set might be one of the best live concerts of all time though.

Many really good albums, but more of a great band IMO. One of the greatest for sure.

Dookie- Queen
Let It Be- The Who
Master of Puppets- April Wine
The Wall- Alanis Morissette

While it came to me: Metallica is simply the single most overrated band of all time. They are the champions of overpopular for no (frank)ing reason.

May not be to everyone’s taste, but I will also throw Carole King’s Tapestry into the mix.

I saw the play Beautiful on Broadway - you don’t realize she wrote half of the songs your parents played on their record player.

I had like 50 different greatest hits CD's ... it was how I used up my free choices from joining Columbia house, like 4 times.

I will only use one album per band because they could have a couple.

1. The Beatles (White Album) but take your pick
2. Rumours
3. Nevermind
4. Blood on the Tracks (but take your pick of Dylan)
5. Dark Side of the Moon

Most under appreciated, especially when it was released. Traveling Wilbury's volume 1

- jribout

Wilbury's were fantastic, every song and off shoot they ever produced. As most of you are aware, I have been very fortunate to see many concerts. I like all your picks but I love great artwork, I also enjoy great wine. To say any band or album just like any painting or bottle is the best ever seems hollow to me.

Good one Wedgie. I grew up on that stuff, and Led Zeppelin. My dad had eclectic taste.

While it comes to mind, most iconic concert performances?
I do think Queen's Live Aid was something incredibly special. As was The Beatles rooftop performance of Let it Be.

Doesn't even have to be top in quality, just most memorable? you old bastards must be holding something back.

And don't bring up Woodstock 99. That was memorable, but it doesn't count.

Supertramp is one of those bands that had more great songs than you thought, like Led Zeppelin, The Eurythmics, Blue Rodeo ...

Yeah, well before your time

Just reviewing the song list. It may not be your cup of tea of course, but damn that is one brilliant album.
