I believe its 28th right now - Fakepartofme
You and Sens are correct.
I didn't know the rule, so I looked it up. I figured everyone eliminated in the first round would be assigned picks 17-24 based on their regular season standings, and then next round would be 25-28, and then 29-30, followed by 31 & 32.
But it's more convoluted (of course it is) than that:
1. The teams that did not qualify for the playoffs the previous season (picks 1–16)
2. The teams that made the playoffs in the previous season but did not win either their division in the regular season or play in the Conference Finals (picks 17–24 up to 28)
3. The teams that won their divisions in the previous season but did not play in the Conference Finals (potentially picks 25–28) <-- We get this one
4. The teams that lose in Conference Finals (picks 29 and 30)
5. The team that was the runner-up in the Stanley Cup Finals (pick 31)
6. The team that won the Stanley Cup in the previous season (pick 32)

Crazy.
It's like I said earlier, they chased that regular season record and peaked too soon.
What I also found fascinating is how Keefe did a lot of experimenting with line combinations and 11-7 lineups in the last month of the season, then in the playoffs in-game lineup shuffling keyed some comebacks, and an 11-7 lineup clinched the series. Funny innit. - Zezel
enough about tampon bay series. it’s over 👊🏿
what does kweef do with the lines?🤔
i say floater willi, yarncock and kweefoot to the press box so the Wayne train, lmafferty and the big red dog can send bob, kachuck and verhagee to the ER. Eat the fines and suspensions and put the three creampuffs back in with a decided advantage and cruise to the 3rd round👊🏿
what a (frank)ing joke🤦♂️
edit:nice alliteration 👍🏿 |

I honestly can't see the Phil your Crack Ins getting by the Stars. Even if Eberle breaks someone else's neck gets away without a suspension. I have a feeling it will be a really dirty series. Bruins were cursed by being the Presidents Cup winners. A lot of smug players and fans.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road would be Elton's best. Other great albums, Frampton Comes Alive, 1976. Seen him live at Maple Leaf Gardens in the spring of 1977. Band on the Run, Paul McCartney's best, in 1974. Deep Purple, Machine Head, 1972. Had that one in Quadraphonic back then. Alice Cooper, Billion Dollar Babies, 1973. Linda Ronstadt, Heart Like A Wheel, 1974. Main Course, The Bee Gees, 1975. The 1970's was probably the greatest decade for classic albums. I almost forgot Hotel California, the Eagles. - PrinceLH
Billion Dollar Babies was my first album, a gift from my older stepbrother. I could come close to still knowing all the lyrics, 50 years later. |

It’s not like they put in Mrazek. Swayman is really good and they clearly didn’t like what they saw from Ulmark. They didn’t lose last night because of their goalie. |

Good Album, I was sitting in front row centre seats with my buddy from Chum radio for that concert. They released giant balloons filled with stuff. One exploded near me and I still have the billion dollar bill I got from that balloon. The fineprint was "cashable if over 80 and accompanied by all four grandparents". Cooper was probably the biggest act in the world at that time. My first albums were Rubber Soul and Highway 61

They didn't - but he wasn't that great either.
Like expected goals (which we can argue about it's accuracy and validity) said that Boston's play favoured them 2.8 - 2 yesterday, but the final score of 4-3 showed that Swayman was -2 in the goals category.
The day before, Florida was favoured 4.5 - 3.3, but the score of 7-5 showed that Ullmark was on the -2.5 side of that one. Ullmark was also -2 in game 5's OT win by Florida. Ullmark was decent to good and times spectacular in games 1, 3 & 4 - the Boston wins. But in games 2, 5 and 6, he wasn't good.
Last year Ullmark was 0-2 with an .860% in the playoffs. This year he was 3-3 with an .896%.
After watching Campbell sort of implode last year in the second half, it makes me wonder about physical conditioning and physical or mental preparedness in terms of meeting the demands of a full NHL season. Ullmark had never started more than 41 total games in a season and playoff prior to this year; this year was 54. It doesn't seem like much to me, but there's a divider somewhere that keeps a great backup from becoming an effective full-time starter and this could be one of them. BTW, Samsonov: Career high was 43 last year in Washington, and this year he is now at 46.

Of all eastern conference teams, toronto and tanpa are pretty close to the farthest apart any 2 teams could be.
And theyre still worried leafs fans will show more support in THEIR arena.
I feel like this is a bit patehtic on their part. |

Bob was good. Swayman was ok and Ulmark was bad. For game 7, Bruins went with a guy who turned out to be ok instead of the guy who had been bad in the game before. Bruins had good chunks of time when they were much stronger but also went through periods where they were turning the puck over and creating scoring chances for Florida. I don’t see their loss coming down to having made a bad goalie decision. |
