3 first round picks + Foote (former 1st round pick) and a couple 2nd round prospects for a finals appearance and a first round exit in Jeannot and Hagel.
I get the Hagel trade more than the Jeannot trade. I get Tampa still trying to push with their core but Jeannott felt like reaching and Hagel was still an overpayment in my books.

Something has got to be done about DOPS, right now. Absolutely crazy. - Joel
How does the NHL get away with this? Cogliano has a broken vertebrae FFS. This is one of the two most dangerous type hits in the game. Teravainen has a broken hand from another "play" they identified as problematic and wanted removed from the game.
And there are no consequences?
If it is a rules problem, where DOPS can't review a minor (is it?) then a serious question needs to finally be asked about the refereeing or the rules need to change.
What I have never understood is why the players have not pushed for some changes.

I dont know how the league still employs the DOPS as it is based on these playoffs alone.
I agree also that the DOPS can/should be able to review any play they want. I think they can because I think some unpenalized hits have been reviewed before.

I have a DVD copy of that fantastic concert. I wish there was a Blu Ray version in 5.1. - PrinceLH
I tried really hard to get out of a work project to get to that show. Seeing Paul McCartney play piano on a song that basically was written to mock him was a bit strange. That lineup was as good as it gets.
Know what's fun? Islanders being eliminated with no player with more than 2 goals during their series. Especially after the fans said they didn't need JT anymore. I bet they could have used his 4 goals.

The talent was something else. Have you ever heard the song "Never Without You", by Ringo Starr and Eric Clapton? It's a tribute to George and it's very good. I think it came out in 2002. I took that song and enhanced the Clapton guitar parts and added a +3.5% pitch adjustment. The song sounds stellar.

I give McCartney credit for how he has shown respect to Harrison. His version of 'Something' on the uke was fantastic. They all had their foibles. By many accounts George was also very female dogy and hard to work with too.

Well Samsonov was horrible in game 5, but he was the difference last night.
Knies made a costly error, but shook it off - Aetherial
Don't agree with this, his only bad game was game one when the entire team was terrible. In game 5, the second goal was really soft and was on him. In his defense for game 5, Leafs were outshot 38 - 30 so he kept it close enough to win. Vas had his best game.
Love that you saw an orange ape with subhuman intelligence and your first thought was Biden, not Trump.
If the joke made sense it would have almost been fine, but you tried so damn hard to shoehorn that into being clever it backfired.

George was probably the main reason the Beatles stopped touring - he hated it. Paul was a meglamanic in the studio and led to friction with all the other three. Most of the songs on All Things Must Pass were written while George was still a Beatle. George was a damm good songwriter.

But good try lil buddy. - UsernameUnknown
Only to you.....but I bet you're happy with downtown Seattle these days. At least Trump had success with the economy, unlike uncle feelie.

Agree with this. I saw the recent footage on Get Back and Paul was a pri-ck to George. He was too much of a perfectionist and thought that he ran the group. John was too whacked out with Yoko in the studio and lost his grip as leader of the band. Decades later, George Martin apologized to George for not working with him more. His songwriting peaked in 1969 and actually was better than Paul and John. "My Sweet Lord" would have been a fantastic release under the Beatles banner, as would "What Is Life." If Paul hadn't been a douche, the band may have stayed together for a few years longer.
Take from Leafs postgame show: O'Reilly's finger in a splint again, and was cleaned out on the draws last night. Probably broken again. 😬 - fifty__missions

Paul McCartney is the only human I can think of where I know he was a meglamaniac and just not care.
