The talent was something else. Have you ever heard the song "Never Without You", by Ringo Starr and Eric Clapton? It's a tribute to George and it's very good. I think it came out in 2002. I took that song and enhanced the Clapton guitar parts and added a +3.5% pitch adjustment. The song sounds stellar.

I've seen every Ringo tour at least once. Some several times. I scored admission to the Press Conference in 2003 at Casino Rama. It was a nice party/get together before the tour started. I sat in the first row at the first show and row 3 at the second. The band played that song at both shows. The musicians Ringo has toured with is quite incredible.

Well Samsonov was horrible in game 5, but he was the difference last night.

Knies made a costly error, but shook it off

- Aetherial

Sammy was great but that goal was a result of his rebound.

When you get frustrated by someone's response and have to explain the insult is next level... good for you son. Keep looking foolish

Paul McCartney is the only human I can think of where I know he was a meglamaniac and just not care.

No rebound if Knies didn't hand the puck over

TO be actually objective, he's played fairly well otherwise. Rookie/simple mistakes aside he has all the makings of being a real good NHL player.

Hey, how's Meier doing for the devils?

Third goal was bad also.
- Aetherial

It was iffy agreed, but he made seval great saves in that game as well. It was still a really close and winable game.

McCartney and Barry Gibb are the two most famous songwriters of the Rock era. Both had fantastic groups that also contributed, but they outlived their bandmates. I recently saw a picture of the two together. A lot of creativity between those two performers.

The crew is out stocking up on snacks and pints, getting ready for two game 7's. In about an hour, it'll pick up. I got out earlier and grabbed some sustenance for the marathon later.

I don't get angry on hockeybuzz but you sure do seem frustrated a little too often.

I call out that you're over the top on Knies and you always disappear when he has a bad game or wasn't showing well in his first three games. You'll be calling for him to be traded in a year when he makes rookie mistakes and onto the next shiny new toy.

Hard to not be very excited about Knies. Twenty years old and already among the best forwards on the team for take aways. Without looking at stats, Marner, Matthews, ROR, Nylander, JT, Knies. Wins lots of battles for pucks.

Old man music is something I know very little about, you got that right. But I respect the hell out of the Beatles and understand the importance of how they helped shape what pop music is today, as well as the cultural impact they had on society in the late 60s/70's.

And then you'll tell me to enjoy Pink Floyd and I just can't. But if you're gonna make me listen to hippy music, then I'll to take a dose of The Lovin Spoonful.

Should still temper expectations for a rookie. Cheechoo scored 50 goals too and look where he ended up.

Also, the kid is likely to go through growing pains as time goes on so lowering expectations and increasing patience will go a lot further when it inevitably happens. I can see the cries for "trash Knies" already from some people.

I agree.....Pink Floyd is a little over-rated. I've got lots of their music, but think other bands are better. If you want great British Invasion, the Hollies had some great songs, many being hits for other artists. The Hollies lasted until the mid '70's and their music went in a softer direction at the end.
