Imagine if the leafs, canes and devils actually get constant good goaltending going forward? Rangers can’t compete with those rosters - TPC
Maybe Igor will sign with NJ. |

There's a new order in the NHL and neither of our teams are in it.

Worst game 7 performance I have ever watched. Rangers need to add speed in off-season. Heads should roll for this. Drury mostly. Probably will be gallant. Panarin Kane are a joke. Kakko and Laf pathetic for top picks. Motte and goodrow looked better - nyrangers2
I agree. Too many injuries in 2015. Last year they weren't expected to win.
They flat out didn't show up for 3 friggin games in this series. I can't even wrap my head around it. |

Yeah, hate to say it, but last year was a fluke. We barely survived vs pittsburgh with a minor league goalie. We are very far away from being ready to compete for the cup. This team slow and soft. They play an East to West game which isn't effective in the postseason. 5on5 has been a major issue for this team going back to last years run |

Maybe some guys are being too tough on the Rangers. The Rangers just hit a deeply skilled team where nobody fully understands yetyet just how talented the Devils may be.
I think the Devils may go all the way. They have incredible wheels. The Rangers struggles were all about not being able to match the speed. Devils will be a wicked match for any team this spring and they are now my favourite to win the East.
I did not think the Devils could beat the Rangers because of goaltending and an elite defensive core. But... |

What about Knoblach as a candidate? Liked him when he had to fill in. Wolf Pack having a great run. Can clearly work with young players. You see it occasionally where AHL coaches get promoted. Not like there are any other stand out candidates. Drury better do the right thing. |

Yea, last few years have made me appreciate our core more. The randomness of hockey makes winning so hard. To do it 3 times and to give us competitive hockey every year since 2007... not much more you can ask for. Some pain in the @ss collapses like last season and 2012, but still a lot of good times.
If you guys arent happy with Laffy and Kakko, take solace in the fact that you guys winning those picks forced the NHL to change the lottery rules so we have no chance at getting Bedard this season. Had we missed the playoffs and won that lottery, I think the league would've shut down. |

Yep I can always take losing, used to it. But not just not showing up and rolling over. Will never forgive them for that |

Rangers are too slow. The team is still not enough 5v5. Zib and panarin being some of the biggest offenders. Their lotto picks look like 3rd line players. Rangers can be mediocre for a while moving forward |

Laf didn't have a single point this series. Panarin no goals. - bonzo11
I really don’t have any words after this loss. It’s easy to say get rid of Kakko, Panarin, Laf and every other player that underachieved. Not really the reality but what’s glaring is that this team needs to clearly look to get faster and quicker. Tarasenko I would consider for the right price. I think we are looking at the same team next season boys if im being honest.
I know at the end of the season everyone called me crazy for saying Gallant won’t get fired but I think it might be time to part ways. This series showed me a lot of flaws in his system |

Yep, most disappointing part of this early exit is the fact we can't make many big changes to the roster. Long, boring offseason ahead. |

If a team offered you a 1st for Kakko or Laf, would you take it? I thought I saw a rumor earlier this season that NY was shopping Laf. |

Same here. There have been long stretches where we all have no clue what their objective is. We say last season was a fluke, but yet it’s probably enough to give Gallant the benefit of the doubt. I will be furious if he is back and like others have said, won’t sacrifice other things to watch 82/82 like I do every season.
Hank saying it to on MSG now, “what is the game plan?” “where were the adjustments”. |

The wild card is that Dolan is a fuucking lunatic. Who knows, Drury could be gone too when this all shakes down. |
