For that hit?
If thats jackeye, everyone’s dancing the jig.. - pete26
I would have given other players the benefit of doubt.
Trouba always goes for predatory hits. This is well documented.
On this one, he went out of his way to hit Meier, who was already covered by 2 Rangers.
He clearly wanted to hurt him.
I don't get the "player was going in with his head down". I'm not against body checks, but players should be able to enter the zone thinking about making plays, not whether they are going to get their head separated from their body by a neanderthal poop for brains defenseman. |

I have too admit this one I didn't expect. to me their lack of experience was key. apparently not.
after they lost the 1st 2 games at home, 5-1 or something, I thought this one was over.
the rookie goalie came in and NYR didn't touch the puck since.
good for them. but yet another surprise imo.
Brodeur said last week win or lose they're 1 year ahead of the plan just for the playoffs experience kids get this year.
maybe they're 2 years ahead now. |

big disappointement in NY no doubt. but they are still a very young team, not sure I'd make big moves. |

To be fair, there were a lot of upsets so far but I knew the Devil could outskate the "old" Rangers.
I wish the Habs had that kind of speedy team ... that would fall in line with our tradition.

Better...Thanks for asking. I'm building back confidence after a rough patch. I'm still job hunting, applied for a few jobs lately, got a call back last Friday...Waiting on a call back from them for an official job interview.
The recruiter asked me for my salary demands on the phone, that kinda caught me off guard. I haven't been job hunting for more than 20 years. Things surely changed.
How about you? |

Glad to hear things are turning around for you, the fact that the recruiter asked about your salary expectations means you’re valued out there.
Things are good on my end.
Oh and also, after 6 months in storage I’m gonna take my car on a road trip tomorrow
So looking forward to that.. |

Mrs26 asked me if I was going through a midlife crisis.
I told her I’m 56, don’t plan to live to 112.
Next question? |
