? This is year one for Montreal and this season was more or less exactly what they wanted (aside from injuries tanking what little trade value their UFA's had).
Columbus has been on a downward slide for years. Jarmo sucks at his job. - BINGO!
Like, you don't go from the worst team in the league to a playoff bubble team in one year, right? It's gotta be a slow, gradual process over 3~ years to make sure you've built up enough of a foundation to compete for a long time. |

As long as Bedard doesn't wind up in Columbus or Philly I'm happy. |

Poor bedard if he ends up in Montreal. There will be enough pressure om that kid. Although he'll be a star wherever he goes |

Is it the bottom 10 that are in the sweepstakes? I don't mind as long as he ends up out west. |

That was a dumb pick. He'll be an NHL player but not a great one. |

The options are mika, Kreider, trocheck, Panarin, goodrow, fox, trouba, shesterkin - picklerick
Yea. Now that you posted this list, not gonna happen. Kreider and Igor could want out but those are two players we want to stick around.
Just gotta hope Panarin wants a change of scenery. Every cup contender has to be scared off, so would only make sense to a team like Arizona or Anaheim who needs a boost but chances are slim to none. |

Moving Panarin wont happen this coming year, but when the Salary cap goes up the following year it could be possible. |

Really thought NYR was poised for another deep run this year.
At least Jan can take a bit of a break before our annual mock draft |

Ah so vancouver just squeezes in there. I was gonna say, imagine missing out by 2 points and not even being close to a playoff team |

well I brought up Anaheim earlier because they have his buddy Strome, and loads of cap space, potential #1 overall pick to play with, maybe he'd waive to go there |

I don’t think one fan wants Panarin on the team moving fwd. from fan favorite to most hated player. Gotta love ny.
I would move panarin, trouba, goodrow, in a heart beat if we could. Even zib |

Zib is just a knee jerk reaction to last night, it took us years to have a number 1 center
he was team MVP this year and just had a bad round

I didnt mind Trouba, I think Miller made some horrible decisions with the puck and is not a smart player. People always wanna bash Trouba for that pair failing but I thought Miller had a terrible series. |

No way trouba is waiving his no trade, and I don't foresee any team having interest in that contract tbh. Goodrow is the only one that they can move. |
