Finally freeing up about $3.5MM and some people want that all over again. Have a bad feeling a buyout is coming. - Fenrir
If they buyout a player this year I will be gone forever. |

Lets face it, the whole team let down, not just Panarin, Mika and Fox so this tells me this was more of a coaching failure than an individual player let down. Its the coaches job to put his players in the best position to succeed, to get the most out of his players. If the Rangers had lost to the Pens last year if we didnt play their 3rd string goalie and knock Cindy out and this years lost in the first round, would GG really be the coach for next season?? - Brukie
I want GG gone because we need to see this core with one more coach before the fire sale. |

hopefully a big learning experience for him and not another play we overhyped - Mtlca66
For sure. Hopefully he just ends up being a bargain instead of another DelZaster. |

I didn't even know that was a thing.
You might want to forward him the gambling hotline number. |

Drury needs to use his Jedi mind tricks on this one. But he will forever be my favorite GM if he can figure it out - TPC
Honestly, Im of the mindset… if you cant beat em, join em… trade Chytil and Goodrow, use that money to bring in Kuzy (2 yrs left on contract) to play 2C with Panarin, bump Trochek to 3C where he belongs. |

Clearly what weve done to this point doesnt work, so instead of alienating Panarin and forcing him to play with guys he doesnt have chemistry, bring someone in who he does play similar style of. As I said, Kuzy contract is done in 2, Panarin in 3…
I prefaced my idea for this as most will hate, if not abhor, the idea, but its an idea, maybe it could help Panarin maintain his game in the playoffs. Who knows. - aecliptic
I wonder if Panarin likes cocaine? |

Yes Tom it is, the majority of Panarins points last year, 16 in 20 games, 9 were on the PP so 5on5 he had 7 points in 20 games, unacceptable for an 11.6m per player. Worst yet his defensive play was just horrible and his back checking was non existent. - Brukie
16 points in a 20 game span is not bad. 2 in 7, bad. So that's just the raw dumbs man. Idk what to tell you. |
