i would agree with you on kane in the playoffs, he wasnt the problem. 93/10/23 the entire kid line, miller. Those are supposedly staples in this roster that completely no showed the entire series after game 2.

The adjustments needed to be made w/ how the players played/competed NYR did NOT lose this series b/c of what Gallant did/didn't do. Hockey is a simple game. The players didn't do the simple things. If we are being completely honest....I think the Devils , and their speed game, made them the worst matchup for NYR in the entire Eastern Conference bracket. They just matched up so well to us

You ass clowns poop on me when I said signing Panarin was a mistake yet here we are and he is proving he doesnt play playoff hockey. He didnt have a good playoff last year, 6g and 10a, which most were secondary assists of the PP and his giveaways and back check sucked!! This year he continued his poopty performance with 2a on the PP in 7 games and he just loved giving that puck away and of course he didnt hustle back to help out defensively!!! I didnt say anything last year about his performance hoping it was just him having to adjust and gave him another year to perform, yet he failed again.

Now his sample size is enough to say he just doesnt play well in the playoffs. 30 playoff games with the Rangers over a 3 year period. 7g and 13a for a player making 11.6m which is almost 14 percent of our Cap. Not good enough!!!

This is what has me downgrading to casual/non fan. I can't watch this anymore unless steps are taken to remedy this. Where is the skating coach? Is there anyone focusing on conditioning? Lafreniere looks like he has done nothing to improve either of those aspects. Why isn't the team forcing this type of training down his throat?

Also after last night, why is Patrick Kane still a topic? He was part of larger problem in that the 18 guys in front of the world class sucked. You literally saw this for years with Henrik Lundqvist. Why are we still doing this?

Edit: And if all 18 guys suck, guess what? That's also a coaching issue. So explain that, please.

Thanks for another season of great coverage, Jan. I wish the team could emulate your work ethic and passion for the game and franchise.
I am completely hollow today. I entered yesterday lacking any real faith the team I pour my passion and time into would represent themselves the way they needed to. From there, received the news that my mother has inoperable cancer, which lead to losing my mind on the internet for all to see. Then cap it off with a performance to drive home just how truly inconsequential cheering for this team is. So many better things I can spend my time and energy on. So, I think I will.
