That's too bad. He must have been fairly young too cause I thought he was in his 30s when he use to post on here. Wasn't his name Dan? |

Joel Quenneville already linked to NYR if Gallant were fired. Name some other options. I assume it will be someone with an #NHL resume. No Messier, no college coach. How about Mike Babcock? He’s been out of league for a few years - has he served his penance? Is he even wanted? - evitageN
Who has actually linked Quenneville to the Rangers? It seem like analysts are just making guesses without any facts. Nobody knows who the Rangers will target. They haven't even fired Gallant yet. |

"Boston was a pretty good team, they lost. Colorado was a pretty good team, they lost. Should we have won? Yes. But it didn't happen."

You mean the Boston and avalanche teams with major injuries? |

Also Colorado has a ton more good will because they just won 12 months ago. |

It just seems like they are linking a big name to big market based on assumptions. Until Gallant is fired and the Rangers actually start poking around, I'm taking these rumors with a grain of salt. |

Completely disagree with gallants assessment that they played well enough to win. Anybody who watched games 4, 5 and 7 know that is not true. You no show for 3 games yet you somehow think you deserved a better outcome? (frank) off |

1 goal across 3 games. Like the man is trying to sell you the biggest lie in franchise history. |

Panarin played his best under Quenneville. Which scares me they could be picking a coach based on what’s best for Panarin. They should be trying to move him not build around him |

I mean it's the rangers and dolan likes his splash. After the quinn debacle, I'd bet if there is a coaching change it will be a big name replacing gallant. There is definitely a disconnect if gallant hasn't even talked with drury yet |

That's why people, myself included want him fired. The season is over. Show a little accountability and try to fix it. But nope, not Gallant. |

100%. And hiding behind his regular season record like that is supposed to comfort us after this poop showing. I'm not keen on Q based on the sexual assault stuff being swept under the rug. There definitely needs to be a coaching change. |

There is no good options here. Quenneville might actually be a terrible person. Babcock not much better. Gallant lost in the sauce. Not great. - tomburton99
If Kim Jong-il knew how to win a Stanley Cup I'd bring him in. |
