I mean it's the rangers and dolan likes his splash. After the quinn debacle, I'd bet if there is a coaching change it will be a big name replacing gallant. There is definitely a disconnect if gallant hasn't even talked with drury yet

I think he was in charge of our scouting before being a head coach. He had been a head coach in vancouver prior to that though and worked in whl too. What ever happened to him?

I think the coach selection comes down to how Dolan is feeling on that particular day. If he's drunk and pissed off about the Knicks, he'll take a swing at a big name. If he's satisfied, he'll let Drury explore other options.
