Maybe. The Kane thing seemed like it did not work out. Not sure I would pin that on GG. I just think it is a hard decision to defend when you take the team to the CF in year 1. - iamscore2day
The problem is Gallant does not deal with adversity well. They were up 2-0 on Tampa, he didnt make the adjustments needed, lost. They were up 2-0 on the Devils, he didnt make the adjustments needed, lost. All this says to me is hes stubborn and thinks his way is the best way, theres no way around it. As the league gets younger and faster, under Gallant, I feel like this story would get repetitive. Good regular season, but in the playoffs wont make the adjustments necessary to adapt. |

But doesnt get them over the hump. Hes a "good enough" coach. Good enough to get you to the playoffs, not good enough to make the adjustments to get to the top. |

If the players had issues with GG, Babcock would bring out nuclear hatred. |

Don’t you actually have to win something to be the best playoff performer of all time? |

Thank you all for the kind words.
Mom passed quietly in the night. No more suffering.
Strangely, you guys are like a big, kind, dumb, angry extended family! 🥲😪 - Tonybere

Whenever I am unable to check NYR news the big stuff always happens. Looking forward to a new/different start next season, whatever that may bring. |

Dude is literally insane. His playoff point per game avg is up there with Gretzky and super mario. His goal totals are staggering |

He's a top 5 player in the world, with or without mcdavid. He has great hands and is an absolute bull on the puck. Seen him live a few times, he is a monster in person. I think he is almost underrated at this point because everyone thinks of mcdavid, and rightfully so, but Leon would thrive anywhere imo |

Oh I think hes a phenominal player, dont get me wrong, but I think his numbers are a little inflated due to Connor. However I think hes still easily a 90-100pt player without him. |

Perhaps slightly, but I don't even think mcdavid is having that great of a postseason at moment (in terms of what he's capable of). Leon has better career postseason numbers. More points and goals than mcdavid |
