the only way I'd be in favor of bringing back the tracing is if you could have the option to turn it on or off, even if it's well done that would really ruin it for me. - Pat1993
I would not mind if they could use it to determine 100% off side or not, rather than 10 minute video reviews.

actually in that case I think the colors of the tracing would make it harder for video review.
also, the puck isn't that hard to follow either

They would likely need to put something in the puck, but then again, likely also something in the player's skates, too.

yeah I've heard about that, if they could do like in tennis and potentially eliminate any chances of human error then it could be interesting. |

Either that or just take away coaches challenge.
But if thye could implement this concept, then maybe they could get rid of 1 official on the ice and create more room out there.
