Everyone relax. Watch some tape, fix some things. We got game 2. Then they will have to adjust. Book it |

Nope. They'll be fine if they keep this pressure/pace. They'll clean up their mistakes, tighten up. Just lots of unforced errors, FLA cashed in. That won't happen every game. - gravyface

Leafs played well
Bounces didn’t go, bob had a good game
Teams that won the 1st game of the series in the 1st round were 2-6
So mathematically the Leafs are in the better spot |

Toronto needed to play Boston IMO. Go from that high of finally winning round one and facing the best regular season team in NHL history. No pressure right? Now they have a clear path to the SCF and betting favourites to win the cup, and playing a wildcard team.
The 19 year drought means absolutely nothing if they lose to the panthers right now. This is their moment. Right now |

Technically that was the leafs 7th game of the playoffs. Probably should’ve known they would’ve lost.
We just don’t know what happens now. |

Well, the drought is still over technically. Whether it means something is entirely up to the individual or not.
Yes, I would've liked to have played Boston.
It's also Game 1, we made a bunch of mistakes, Sammy was so-so, our PP was uncharacteristically bad against a bad PK team thanks to some huge stops by Bobby... not worried. |

Ya, florida capitalized on the leafs mistakes. Leafs had plenty of opportunities and just weren’t able to execute. The powerplay looked great just couldn’t score.
I’m not to worried, yet. |

Tkachuk played almost 21 minutes. He netted three assists. He drew two penalties (one of them negated by a goal, the other a phantom hook on Mark Giordano). He threw a game-high nine hits.
Shot attempts were — wait for it — 26-8 at five-on-five when he was on the ice. Florida won over 70 percent of the expected goals.
Better find a way to deal with this… or he’s gonna single handedly wreck the Leafers. |

That’s what scares me because I do think holl will be back. It just better not be for liljegren. It should be gio but Keefe won’t do that either. |
