Except, of course, when he was with San Jose, and almost single-handedly knocked the Leafs out of the playoffs.

He crushed our hearts in Carolina back in 2002. Literally stole the series. I think the Leafs scored 6 goals in 6 games.

For me that was the year the Leafs were "supposed" to get to the show. Redwings would have beat us up in the Cup final but (frank) me we were good and should have beaten the Canes. Irbe was ridiculous.

The league bent over backwards for Florida with not wanting to put Florida and Heat on the same days.

It would be like having the leafs and raptors on the same night if they played in separate buildings...no one would care about the Raps besides a few die hards

I do do too, up to a point. It’s just that I generally worry that Tkachuk becomes too much of an issue and the team focuses on him instead of playing their own game. Bunting and him together is a bit of a recipe for hijinks
